Yeah, we can stop arguing as you keep (strangely) telling me that I'm not "accepting" something or "reading" something, when I literally would repost the exact definitions, theories, etc., right back to you?
The Bible, which is used by Prosperity Gospel Preachers, does not promote the Law of Attraction, it promotes "favors from God through faith". The Bible says that if you tithe, give offerings, pray, be kind-hearted, believe, and follow the "holy spirit", God will BLESS you with various material things along with good health, peace, and love.
The Law of Attraction states that whatever you PUT out as energy into the universe, is what the universe will give back to you. It does not mention anything about God, or Faith, or anything like that.
The Prosperity Gospel Preachers have packaged a "product" called the Prosperity Gospel, to include a variation of the Law of Attraction in combination with Bible teachings. The Self-Help Gurus don't include Bible teachings, they just talk about "The Universe". So with the Prosperity Gospel Preachers, "the genie granting your wishes" is GOD. With the Self-Help Gurus, "the genie granting your wishes" is THE UNIVERSE.
You discussing N. Hill, a Self-Help Guru who packaged his own "product", is not really the topic of this thread. The topic of the thread is if the Law of Attraction is an ineffective theory and in discussing this, you have to keep the conversation STRICTLY on the Law of Attraction theory..........not the repackaged variations that include other variables (such as God, or action, or executed plans, or goals, etc.) that the Self-Help Gurus and Church Pastors have ADDED to the theory to market a "product".
But maybe what I'm saying is going over your head, so I understand.
