The government funded the research and development of the internet via the military. The Internet is primarily a surveillance tool. The government loves the internet. It gives them eyes on everything. Most people know this. This isn't even a "conspiracy theory" anymore. People just accept it.

Bitcoin will just be co-opted into GovCoin in some kind of "exchange your bitcoins for govcoins" deal. They will punctuate it with "bitcoin is being used to fund toxic masculinity" - kinda like how you guys are trying to plan your own little private crypto exchange on a public forum. Never going to happen. They are all over that.

Managing illegal users will be easy because we will all have un-forgeable internet passports attached to our biometric data. It's gonna be hilarious. If you don't allow yourself to be inserted with a passport, much like the vaccine, then no work/internet for you.

BT is great because you often times get a good discount along with it and often pay no state or federal taxes on it.

I'm just saying there's already some examples of central banks cracking down on it. From what I see, central banks usually do things in lockstep... Of course more draconian societies will be the first to do it, but I bet there'll be a crackdown on private coins in western societies eventually... Though as long as one country such as Switzerland doesn't, then there will always be value attached to private coins. Though the only problem is cashing them out. Can't buy food, pay rent, buy clothes, gas, etc, with them, what good will they be? Unless one plans on paying for those things on the black market, which, I don't know..... Buying food on the black market doesn't sound too appealing...

The other option would need drug dealers to accept crypto currencies from their dope fiend clients... Then one can give dope fiends private cryptos for their food cards, and then they use the cryptos to buy their drugs.

You have to decide how much risk you think that is, don't buy it if you don't want to. Not trying to convince you. I am comfortable with it and don't think Ethopia leads the way for western nations.

Yep. That's one of the reasons I love precious metals, completely off the radar. Just has a lot of limitations. Bitcoin and metals fill in the gaps and act as insurance for each other.
