why not tell her to come over for the after party tonight. Win/win
Lmao it would be... but I think I'm going to go to the party, tell her that I won't be able to make it tonight but I'd love to see her next week and that I'll be in touch?

Lo and behold...

She's rescheduled...

She's told me her schedule for next week... she's even asked if we can still do it tonight.

I'm not going to cancel the party I'm going to, that's for sure - he's a great friend who asked me a couple days ago, I told him if my plans (the date) fell through I would go.
The plans (read: other guy) she was hoping to partake in tonight clearly fell through so NOW she can hang out with you. If you just want a bang then do what Glassguy suggests. Personally, I would just look elsewhere. Once you are seen as Option B by a woman it is hard to shake that view.

I mean of course I could invite her to an after party like Glassguy said,

Or I could just not cancel my plan to go to my mate's party, tell her I would like to see her and I'll be in touch next week to set a date?

You can do whatever you want, brother. This isn't a hard science. Just don't be surprised when she flakes again next week if you give her another shot. One of the tactics some DJs suggest is, once she has flaked once, just invite her straight to your place. If she refuses you are done and move on.

So.... you don't want to get laid tonight?
Not after being blown off like that (get it?)

I'm not going to cancel on my friend, that's certain.

I'll just tell her I can't tonight, but we can go next week on X day

I would do that too, it's good advice, however I share a flat and some of the people here are nosey ****s and loudmouths. It's a shared kitchen and all. A bottle of red while we cook would have been nice, but with these people around... we wouldn't get the place to ourselves

Downgrade this thot to 'you up?' status.
She missed her chance for tonight by blowing me off, I'm prioritising my time over hers... I'm not going to cancel plans because she suddenly wants to go out now - **** that.

I told her I could no longer go tonight then asked her Thursday at 8pm at X restaurant

I hope she stands you up or cancels on you at the last minute. You seem to be like most everyone else here and just enjoy rambling on and on with entry-level BS. I've given you advice, you won't act on it, and will most likely fall into this girl's frame, start simping, then she'll drop you.... aaaand you'll be back here, wondering where it all went south.

No need to act that way dude.

You did give me advice, good advice, doesn't mean I have to take it as gospel.

This is a good idea in dealing with flakes if you're feeling like giving a woman another opportunity. If she flakes on an in-public date, invite straight to your home so that you're not inconvienced by her AND you are closer to getting the bang if she shows up for the home date.

Right, so tomorrow night is the "rescheduled" date.

Of course my anxiety is going up and that's pretty much down to me thinking she's going to end up cancelling again, which let's be honest is the most likely.

If she does, that'll be it though.
