Ok, for what I'm gonna say next, I will probably get "lynched" by a lots of people here on this forum.
I am NOT looking for a bodybuilder type of physique, I think it's gross.
I am trying to get a more "athletic" build, I'm shooting for a little more than 70kg, that's about 155lbs.
I used to pratice breakdancing, now I've been doing capoeira for a year, hopefully, in two or three years, I will get real good. I prefer to have better agility and "relative strength" (the strength per bodyweight ratio) so I can do some crazy acrobatics than becoming a real buff muscle man...
Anyway, thanks to my genes, it's almost impossible for me to get "big". I always eat whatever I want, whenever I want, and as much as I want. If I do some sports regularly, even eating like that won't make me gain a single pound. Guess I have a fast metabolism. So becoming a muscle man is not an option for me anyway...unless I use steroids I guess...![]()
I wasn't saying I don't want/have muscles, just not in a buff way. Let's say I prefer to have a swimmer's physique than a bodybuilder's physique.brucevangeorge said:Wussy. Real men aren't scared of muscle, especially their own.
FYI: Bigger guys have a higher strength to weight ratio.
Bodybuilding? HAHAHAHA. Look at these stats. Most are wannabees. (myself included.. I'm not where I should be at)Le Parisien said:So bigger guys have a higher strength to weight ratio huh?
Can you do a handstand on one hand?
How many pull-ups can you do in a row?
How many push-ups?
Can you do the turtle (lifting your whole bodyweight on your two arms under your belly?
etc...
What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.
You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
