Twenty pounds heavier then me, same hieght, but a larger waist? I didn't think muscle wieghed THAT much more.

muscle weighs more than fat, a LOT more. Plus, I'm a gym rat, so i'm more built than most average joe's my age. My genetics are horrible, so I'll confess that I've occasionally cheated w/ some supplements....But not as bad as Bary Bonds, i swear ! lol

Height: 1m74 or 5'9'' (5'8½ for those who want precision:D )
Weight: 67kg or 148lbs

Ok, for what I'm gonna say next, I will probably get "lynched" by a lots of people here on this forum.

I am NOT looking for a bodybuilder type of physique, I think it's gross.

I am trying to get a more "athletic" build, I'm shooting for a little more than 70kg, that's about 155lbs.

I used to pratice breakdancing, now I've been doing capoeira for a year, hopefully, in two or three years, I will get real good. I prefer to have better agility and "relative strength" (the strength per bodyweight ratio) so I can do some crazy acrobatics than becoming a real buff muscle man...

Anyway, thanks to my genes, it's almost impossible for me to get "big". I always eat whatever I want, whenever I want, and as much as I want. If I do some sports regularly, even eating like that won't make me gain a single pound. Guess I have a fast metabolism. So becoming a muscle man is not an option for me anyway...unless I use steroids I guess...:D

Wussy. Real men aren't scared of muscle, especially their own.

FYI: Bigger guys have a higher strength to weight ratio.

I wasn't saying I don't want/have muscles, just not in a buff way. Let's say I prefer to have a swimmer's physique than a bodybuilder's physique.

So bigger guys have a higher strength to weight ratio huh?
Can you do a handstand on one hand?
How many pull-ups can you do in a row?
How many push-ups?
Can you do the turtle (lifting your whole bodyweight on your two arms under your belly?
etc...

Anyway, as I said, I know 99% of the guys on this section are into the bodybuilding thing, thus I was prepared to get verbally "lynched". So bring it on people, I'm ready for the insults and name calling...

I'm 5'9" and weigh 178 lbs.

last i measured I was 11% BF and now I figure i'm about 10%. I've put on a few lbs of muscle over the winter months and dropped some fat. Looking to cut up real good by June.

amazing how little you need to workout to maintain once you're happy with your body. I hit the gym no more than 2-3 times/ week but eat pretty decently so I still see some gains.

I have a few more lbs of fat to lose before I'm completly satisfied. Of course that 2-3 lbs is settled right on my lower back and sides. There's just enough that i can grab it with my fingers and that's about it.

Bodybuilding? HAHAHAHA. Look at these stats. Most are wannabees. (myself included.. I'm not where I should be at)

And yes, bigger guys do have a higher strength to weight ratio.

"How many pullups, pushups can you do?" These are ENDURANCE EXERCISES!!!

I was talking about strength. But if you want to go that way... bigger guys have more muscular endurance too (running excluded).

Can you BENCH you bodyweight for 25 reps?

The chart says I'm about right....

6' at 176 lbs.
Been working out on the BodyMAxx program since last week of January.
I still have a little bit of access fat in the belly area, but I also have a lot more muscle than I did have. So much that my son accuses me of doing roids even though I don't.
So I guess it's all working out well..
