Exactly. It's like there's 2 persons inside you. The one wants to get laid by a different girl each day. The other one wants to be in a committed relationship. So by focussing on #1 you kind of forget about #2

I fully agree there, just stop all contact with her, go do your own thing and you will get over her. Obviously it wont happen overnight but give it time and you should be fine, we have all been there. The way I got over my "oneitis" is that I started to chat to this cute girl in my chemistry labs that always smelled like milk and honey.

I tried that it, didn't work for me. That's how far gone I was! It took a visit with an old indian medicine man to make me realize that society/Hollywood has created this BS image of a perfect life of the wife & white picket fence. Following that it took a lot of introspection for me to realize that she wasn't the one but merely a fascination I created in my mind.

I haven't looked back since. Now I realize there is no such thing as the one.That being said, that doesn't mean I'm some cold, non-commital person, I just know I don't need some illusion that society has created to give me that warm fuzzy feeling inside.
