Exactly. It's like there's 2 persons inside you. The one wants to get laid by a different girl each day. The other one wants to be in a committed relationship. So by focussing on #1 you kind of forget about #2

I fully agree there, just stop all contact with her, go do your own thing and you will get over her. Obviously it wont happen overnight but give it time and you should be fine, we have all been there. The way I got over my "oneitis" is that I started to chat to this cute girl in my chemistry labs that always smelled like milk and honey.

I kept my distance and started really working on myself. Having this girl **** my life up was the best thing that ever happened to me
I get over her by stalking her and writing love letters, poems, songs, and e-mails of my undying devotion to her, and how I worship the ground she walks on, how she has my nuts in her hand and whereever she throws them, I'll happily run and retrieve them, with honor. Everyday she's not here to talk to me, every minute I'm not in her presence, I wallow in self-pity and drown my sorrows in a whiskey bottle. I lose all ambition and zeal for life.
