your coach is no doubt just covering his butt (by blowing smoke...nevermind). correct form is absolutely critical on both squats & deads, but there's no reason to "build up" to deadlifts--you've been deadlifting your whole life, everytime you pick something up off the floor "correctly" (squatting down to pick up a heavy load rather than bending over).

Size is not my only focus, thats why I'm not bodybuilding. But those that think size dose not matter are kidding themselfs. The reason they introduced weight divisions is because good small guys were getting there a$$es kicked buy big $h!t fighters. Heavy weight fighters that are muscily (not sumo style) will normally beat a fast middleweigh.
And that's why you should aim to lose 10 kilos while training, so that you average opponent is going to be 10 kilos lighter than you are.

Usually all of the heavyweights are tall.

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

I'm tall, 6 foot 2 or 3. About regular heavyweight height. If I lost 10kg's id look sh!t. I will be a heavyweight!! I want to be the best fighter I can ever become. I believe I need to pack on the muscle and weight to do that.

Man, Bruce Lee's style of training is exelent for fancy, eastern martial arts. But no good for wresteling and boxing(if weight divesions dident exist).

6'2?

Isn't that around light heavyweight height. Most of the MMA guys I see are in the 6'2 - 205lb range.

I don't do nearly as much training as you do, but I can relate as I mix bjj with bulking.

-While doing cardio, the only way your weight is gonna go up is when the weights your lift increase. You should probably add at least one more day of weight lifting to increase the rate at which you lift and improve. You will also need to keep a notebook to make sure that you increment in either weight or reps in all your exersices. I highly reccomend you keep a workout journal so we can look at it and give you advice
-Do low volume: 2 sets only, 3 at the most. Your body will have a hard time recovering with all the training you are doing, so try not to damage it too much. Try to finish your workout in 20-40 minutes. Plus, with a low number of sets, you'll have more energy for your grappling/striking. It will be easier to add more days of lifting to your schedule.
-Schedule your day of rest the day after you lift. Your muscles will be able to grow better.
-Everyone on this board says protien requirement are hardest to fullfill when bulking. However, from my experiance, its carbs. To gain weight you need net positive caloric intake, and thats friggin hard to do when intense cardio workouts in your schedule. At least with protien, you can use shakes.

Good luck mate.

I'm going to start to focus on bjj (mon, wed and sat), cut out thai boxing(this is my strong point) except for sparing, Weight train on mon and thursday.

This way I can eat more and do less cardio.

Get someone to check my deadlift form

I'm 80kg now. Give me two months and I'll be 85kg.

Get more sleep!!

I'm going to start cooking now.

I will post my results.
Spesmilitis, I do most of the things you say. 30min extreamily intence workout. If I did it more than twice a week i would be too sore fore mma tho(can't cahnge the weights day). I have been adding weight at a steddy rate. Not mass tho.

I hate eating truckloads of carbs and fats!!!!!!!

At this point you probably have a woman (or multiple women) chasing you around, calling you all the time, wanting to be with you. So let's talk about how to KEEP a woman interested in you once you have her. This is BIG! There is nothing worse than getting dumped by a woman that you really, really like.

You're on the right track. You're weight will go up eventually. For me, while doing bjj, I have to workout for 2-3 monthes, then all of a sudden, I gain .5-1pound a week till I gain 4-5 pounds, then the cycle starts over again.

I am getting stronger and cut. but also smaller. I'm not going for the Bruce Lee look but thats where I'm heading.

Also, I don't even enjoy food. It's a chore for me to eat. I don't enjoy junk food so I always eat right. Sometimes I feel like I'm just makeing myself sick by craming all this food down.

yah, sometimes i go through stonger but smaller phases too. Maybe you just lost some body fat? I dunno man, post your training and diet schedule, maybe we can find something.

In my experiance, eating healthy has always been cheap for me. My food staples when I shop/cook for my self has been: whole what pasta (.99 cents a bag), whole wheat bread, eggs, milk, chicken breast, veg/fruits, olive oil.
What are you buying?

Create self-fulfilling prophecies. Always assume the positive. Assume she likes you. Assume she wants to talk to you. Assume she wants to go out with you. When you think positive, positive things happen.

Work out looks good, I never done a hack squat so I don't know about that. As for glute ham raises, you can build yourself a glut-ham thingy outta a barbell and some padding. Google it, or look at my workout log.

When do you do your mma training?

For money, cut down on the steak, kangaroo(if its expensive). If you're taking flaxseed for omega-3's, replace with fish oil. Only a small fraction of the omega-3's in flaxoil is converted to usable form. Otherwise, its a good source of fat.

Remember, eating enough protien is gonna be pretty hard, but since you're training in mma, getting a positive caloric intake is going to be even harder. Remember that nutrition for grappling link I put up a while ago? There was a quote that went something like this:
what is the most important nutrient for strength athletes-protien
what is the most important nutrient for grappling/mma-carbs

What do you mean by you never feel 100%? How long ago was your poisoning?

First up thanks for all your usefull info

I use the flax for fat in my shakes.

So I have started to focus on weight gain because it has been so hard for me. I only train mma on tue and thu. No bjj or muay thai anymore. It isn't very intence which is good because I need to cut down my cardio.

I always feel a bit sick in the stomach. And grose stuff like I'm iregular, got gass all the time, pee dark yellow even though i drink over 2L of water a day. It started after I took antibiotics for acne, even though I haven't taken them in 4months I'm still unwell. about 3 months ago I got poisoned. lost 4KG's and could not get it back.

This year I will lift hard and eat hard. My goal is 90KG. I have been 84KG's but am now 78KG's. I will look into the Glute ham raise. At the end of this year I am determined to have a good b4 and after pic to post.

Yeah mean, if your diet and workout is 100%, you should be 100%. Its time to see a doctor and describe your situation in great detail.

Also look up info on the net, doctors don't know everything.
