That guy sounds pretty jaded and pessimistic. Millions and millions of people are able to find happiness in a relationship, but somehow to people like this everything sucks and there's no hope for anyone.

In any case, whatever, seems like she's getting older and is coping with that fact. Her article probably is slanted to make this guy to be a misogynist when he probably wasn't. Then she ends her article with agreeing with the guy that the dating scene is "****ing brutal out there"; yeah, for her it's really brutal out there.

Yes, this is a fair assessment. I would approach her in a mall or outdoor setting. She's also 32 too and being cute and childless at 32 is somewhat of an achievement.
