I began lifting in my late 30’s no PEDs. Took me a few years to get jacked, but the progress was visible week to week. I went from soft dad bod to jacked as well. I stand 5’9 @8-9% body fat, 205lbs. I’m 54 now, I get the attention and the interpersonal results the OP speaks of.

Stop whining and fracking start lifting guys, it’s life changing. Even if it’s 10 minutes a day do push-ups and burpees. But you need to get under an Olympic bar eventually. Start with something simple like 5x5 a good primer at stronglifts no $ required. Just do it.

This gymcel notion is generally pushed by dudes who lack motivation to improve themselves & will latch onto anything & everything in order to get out of hitting the gym. Why? Because it's hard fuking work & requires long term sacrifice.

Those who keep pushing the gymcel narrative, are the type of guy that will only lift a finger if there is the reward of sex at the end of it.. Not because they want to self improve
I think gymcel can happen though my sense is that it is not all that common. Being ripped does help a guy get pusssy. A guy who is ripped needs some game to close, but the threshold needed is much lower than someone who has a normal BMI and isn't overly muscular.

Damn bro that’s gainz. What kind of routine are you on at PF, and are you bulking or cutting rn?
I have two gym memberships, I don’t do back or legs at planet fitness I have to go to a gym with a squat rack.
I work out 6 days.. routine will be something like
Monday: Back Biceps
Tuesday: Shoulders Triceps
Wednesday: Legs
Thursday: Chest & Biceps
Friday: Back & Triceps
Saturday: Off
Sunday: Chest/Abs & a little bit of legs a

20 minutes of cardio after every workout
Protein is the only supplement
Right now im cutting, 2500 calories a day.

That’s a very interesting split. And I totally agree with you there. You need a squat rack if you want to get big, so you can lift heavy free weights.

Anyone her getting too damn Jacked? I tend to grow big super quick..

3-4 weeks of intense benching & my clothes stop fitting me. Its difficult to maintain sometimes, as I think I prefer the lean ripped astethic look.

Genetics play a big part too.. One of my friends is 48 years old & super ripped.. Very low percentage body fat & good size arms & chest etc.

Myself I tend to get more jacked than ripped.

My arms are big, so is my, chest, back & legs.. However I am just under 5ft9 so for my height I look a big guy.

I would prefer the ripped looked, but genetics are a mofo.. Jacked is still good though.. Better than being a fat azz or a skinny dweeb lol

lol... 5'9 with 8-9% bf, 205 pounds and "natural". Serge Nubret was 6'0 with a 200 pound competition weight and 212 pound offseason weight as a pinnacle steroid user. Get the fvck outa here.

This is what im talking about. I recognize being talked to like im stupid because i have dealt with fake natties in real life. I know the game. Fake naturals know that the steroid use isnt the problem, it's their lying. But if they didnt lie they wouldnt feel special or receive the adulation they want from other people.

The only problem is that becoming really jacked or ripped takes time. You don’t get the full confidence benefits until later in the future. So the earlier you start the better IMO.

Nope, criminals and bullies are usually not looking for a fight, they are looking for a victim.
They might be stupid but they are not THAT kind of stupid.

As long as you are looking like a gladiator, being polite and dont hurt anyones ego (especially drunken ones and from certain cultures), you will be left alone.
I know plenty of guys that will pick fights with a NFL football player over some bs. They will go an get their ass beat and blame other factors or just make **** up if you weren’t there to witness it. You should feel grateful that you haven’t had to be around idiots like these. In addition, a weapon doesn’t care how muscular you are...

Getting super jacked, or ripped, isn't really necessary, unless you enjoy that for yourself.

I'm an opponent of supplements, since I think they're just a waste of money.

I eat a few spoonfuls of pumpkin seeds per day, almonds, and bell peppers w/ spicy hummus for a snack usually.

It's also important to drink water with natural silica in it, since silica helps remove aluminum from the body.

Fiji water contains silica.

Also, stay away from flouride. It's extremely toxic to the body.
Try L-Arginine ( around 5000mg a day ) and hit me back. Also vitamin D supplementation and fish oil. And hit me back and say you didn't notice anything.
Junky and crappy diets don't give your body a ton of the things they need, and when you give the body what it needs it performs better.

Good looks and muscles is like having an excellent resume, it gets you a foot in the door and you get an interview/date. But most men still need to work on their charisma and conversation skills to maintain attraction, looks will only go so far.

The gymcel meme exists for a reason, don't skio personality day!

Yes. (Not all.. but north of 90% for professional athletes are taking PEDs)
almost 100%

go and search athletes and bodybuilders pre 1960.

the average gym bro Is bigger than most of them.

It’s a shame really. We hear about women having this “massive social pressure to look good” while men are literally injecting male sex hormones to keep up with female expectations.

I wouldn’t do it on principe. It’s a man’s equivalent of a tit job of collagen. A lot of women would pick up on this. It’s why male strippers don’t get pedestalised. It’s weak to dedicate a life to pleasing the other sex. Like some blonde floozy!

I don’t blame any man for doing so, I’ve been tempted, i just can’t be bothered with all the effort. Of course for atheletes irs different - that’s your job.

in my Experience to get actually large and ripped - like large arms and chest, noticeably, it either takes several years of training or 6 months of drugs.

I trained constantly - really hard for a year and a half and ate perfectly and all I got was the toned, athletic kinda non professional swimmer look .

if you look at strongmen of the past - they were big but also fat. It’s hard to be both big and lean without test,Winnie and clen.

Martial arts skills are overestimated when it comes to streetfighting.

While for sure it is beneficial when a man knows how to throw punches and low-kicks, a lot of techniques are useless in an uncontrolled environment aka streetfight.

The jacked 220 lbs guy will just steamroll over the 150 lbs whatever blackbelt.

Just like the 170 lbs sportive man will steamroll over the 110 lbs whatever blackbelt woman.

Not true at all. Wrestling alone has saved me in a lot of street fights. If im against someone with no grappling skills i dont care how big he is he will be on the ground with me on top controlling him.

Decent amateur boxers can also **** up guys in the streets way bigger than them. Most people dont even know how to throw a straight punch ffs.

Well i am not a NFL player, just a normal guy. If you are s celebrity, you should know better then to go to stupid places, with stupid people, doing stupid things. That all comes down to situational awareness and how to stay out of harms way.

And yes, weapons.... and the government could come with tanks to get you ..... you can pull out every excuse you want why to not get a bigger bizeps. In the end, trained people are harder to kill and less likely to become a victim, like it has allways been.

Thats great..... and while you are on the ground grappling, his buddies will kick your head in or stab you. Game over

When you say Wrestling saved you in a lot of streetfights, you must be an idiot to frequently get into fights or you are just a liar. Which one is it?
