I carry a glock 23 in .40caliber with a Fobus paddle type holster. My question is what you guys do for conceilment during the summer months or when you want to wear a teeshirt. Im a bigger guy so hiding the midframe G23 isnt hard but it is winter and its easy to wear a unbuttoned shirt over the belt.

Ive been using this setup for about three years but want to maybe change to something different for summer carry. Give me some advice..thanks

I was thinking the same thing.

You're a *****, dude, thinking you need to carry a gun around. It's guys like you who pack heat, that make our city streets dangerous in the first place.

I hope it goes off and somehow manages to shoot off your already microscopic penis attached to your shrunken pea-sized balls.

For those that replyed that live in countrys where the goverment dosn't feel its citizens are responsible enough to own firearms....why even waste the time to type a wise-a$$ comment.

But just to answer the questions from those that are from lands where you must rely on the government for protection. Coke is illegal just like handguns, I assume there is no coke use there, right? I carry a weapon due to the fact that my business is in coins and jewlery..where we live things made of metals such as gold and silver have value. I have had an attempted robbery here before, they had knives, are knives illegal? I was lucky enough to have my father come back from lunch early, they got skittish and ran out the door.

To those who answered with legitimate resposes thank you. This wasn't to be an open forum to discuss how much we love all of the freedom we have in America.

I looked up the small frame glock 27 it looks nice and compact I'll have to go to the shop this week and check one out. Thanks.

Maybe he hasn't had a need to pull it out. But boy would it suck if the need arises and he doesn't have a gun . . . he's ****ed.

If he wants to carry a gun, so be it. He's going to do so whether you want him to or not, so spare him the lecture and just divert your eyes away from this thread.

You American man, want to hide big gun?

Yes, I have perfect solution. I am Afghan Muslim warrior, who need carry many big gun all the time! But what of American soldier who think I am terrorist and want to shoot me? I find one good way of hiding big gun.

First you put big gun in pants. When lady asks what is that, you say you happy to see her. The lady will say "WOW!" and you will get bang bang that night. This what I do in Afghanistan, American soldiers not know I have big gun, and I get many fine ladies! Bonus!

But what if people say, "Why this man have big lump in pants all the time?" You can reply, "I am always happy! You just jealous because your lump not so big". This is '****y and funny', will get you many ladies!
ok very funny just makesure you dont get a round going off by accident OUCH

and dont even bother trying to hide a sub machine gun there, an uzi there or even a mini uzi is over doing it

Maybe you should have added that to your original post.

You came off as if you were carrying a gun, thug-style....just 'cause it's cool.

I own 6 rifles and 2 shotguns. I use them for hunting.

Never, ever would i feel that i should carry a handgun on me for any reason. If I'm in an unsafe environment, I'd opt to just get the fvck out of there.

Jewelry and coins is legit for carrying a gun, in my opinion. As long as you only carry it when you're doing buisness.

I hate the thought of some shmuck pulling a gun out at a night club or something. It happens and it's stupid.

I carry my East German MAKAROV pistol loaded with Hornandy XTP HP ammo, I use a small break open fanny pack that works well during hot weather, looks like an ordinary fanny pack used by hikers that you wear around your waist.

you can wear anything if you use a fanny pack style holster to carry a pistol.

it may be hard ot get your hands on one of these as they are not produced anymore, at least i dont tihnk they are, but if you want somtihng really cool go for a Colt .45 Double Eagle. im pretty sure they are semi automatic and with an 8 round magazine its perfect for self defence as im asuming your not going to have some huge gun battle.

and if you think your going to have to do some 'snipping' you may want a single shot pistol such as a XP-100 im asuming you can get a telascopic site for it. :p

oh and some kind of fully automaitc for days when you are being persued by the mafia :p how about an uzi to keep on you, and keep the M16 in the trunk of your car :p

Very nice responses..thank you. I will do some more research and will use the suggestions you guys listed. By the way I've been using Titan ammo. 13 in the magazine 1 in the pipe. Nice security during the nights I work alone.

It isn't even the fact you carry a gun, it's the fact you need to tell us about it.

If you were really serious with your question, you'd ask it somewhere appropriate like a GUN forum.

Oh yeah and Americans, there really responsible with handguns

Ice cold, have you been in the military or law enforcement? Do you actually no how to use a handgun?

Join the army then you get the opportunity to shoot us brits, that's where we get most of our casualties from.

I suspect you've been watching too many gansta films, when you grow up maybe you can get a taste of the real thing, see if you don't sh1t your pants when your facing the end of a barrel.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
