But see I think Woodhaven really just described a form of Indirect game. This aticle is quite old and I think Indirect has morphed into being more "direct" since then. While the new Direct guys are suggesting things like, telling the girl she's "beautiful"", you want to get to know her", "tell her what your really thinking", "let her know verbally you want to have sex with her. Mode One basically tells guys to propostion girls, even tell them you want to fvck them. He apparently got his imspiration for this as an impressionable teen from watching an 80's-era porn Talk Dirty to Me back when porn had a plot and dialogue .

I think using compliments and express your interest and intent is what makes it become direct. I think it's bad game in general.

Thanks for the replies, it's been an interesting discussion. I may incorporate some direct into my overall seduction skillset - however I'd much prefer to stick to a method similar to hat Mike Pilinski suggests.

I use direct game quite a bit and it's my preferred method of meeting girls in the public domain. I'm not huge on canned bullsh!t and routines so I do better just being myself.

I DO usually only go direct on a girl if she's given me IOI's. I'm not a bad looking guy so this happens somewhat regularly. Once I get the eye contact or smile, I just approach and say whatever. All this BS about NOT verbalizing intentions is stupid...if she's going to reject me, I'd rather get rejected by going balls out on a girl letting her know whats up rather than pretending I dont think she's hot and don't want to go out with her.

Plus for me, it's way more fun to do this...pretty awesome adrenaline high...

I went into town today to do some direct day game and then later meet up for a drink with my friend.

I approached 5 women directly in this time, would have done more but my results were very good today so decided to leave it at that.

I closed a 9, 8 and a 7 and was actually closed by the 8 herself. I'd consider 2 of the 3 closes solid, the other may be flakey.

The other 2/5, both were good interactions but they insisted that they had bf's but it was 'nice to meet you '.

I'd say that direct game is perfectly fine tbh, I mean I've had a few bad days with it but I have had that with indirect too. If I can close attractive women like this, I think it's a decent method.

SAYING that, I think direct puts your appearance on the line a lot; you'll get judged on this a lot when you do direct, so unless you're confident that you're attractive, it'll be hard to get success.

I'd say I'm a good looking guy and attractive to most girls, so I think I do ok with this because of that. Saying that, indirect can work fine too.

EDIT: Sorry didn't mean to brag or anything with this post, I should add I did direct day game the other day, did 10 direct approaches, but got no numbers despite good interactions. Things go like that sometimes.

Lol, funny you should say that. When I got numbers off the 8 and 9 on my first 2 approaches I was like "woooo I wanna go for 5/5, that's what Style and Mystery claim! ", sadly that ended on number 3 and then on 4, but got a 7 at the end.
