I live in the impoverished southern end of the state. Prison guard is one of the few decent jobs left.
I stayed in Metropolis last year and it was depressing. Most of the nation is now like that. Ever wonder how we built all these awesome towns and cities hundreds of years ago? We did it because we made everything locally then. Now we cut trees down in our own towns, drive them hundreds of miles to the ports, ship them thousands of miles to China, then drive them hundreds of miles to factories where slave labor fashions them into wood, where they travel hundreds of miles by rail, and then thousands of miles by ship, and then are driven hundreds of miles to warehouses in the US, and then shipped hundreds of miles to your town, where people (now on welfare) say they can't afford to buy locally, and who want to save $1 at Wal-Mart, and who remind us that we shouldn't breathe so much because of our carbon footprint, and to only trust Government with guns.

Americans guns by American citizens been killing more americans than terrorists and war since 1789.
The vast majority is blacks killing other blacks, or people on Prozac who grew up in daycare. There are hardly any crimes by legal gun owners. Terrorists haven't killed anyone in the US, yet you want police (with guns) to search every airline passenger?

Switzerland has more gun than the USA, yet no gun accident related.
So you are admitting that guns aren't the problem, but black people with guns?

In Japan, if you are arrested with a gun... you basically get executed on the spot.... there is no gun violence.
Except the violence committed by the Government with guns? These are the same Japanese that you say are racist for not letting in Syrians? The same ones who polluted the whole Earth with Fukushima?

In Canada, where I live, getting a gun is complicated and they have restricted systems.... we did have some accidents.
Yes, like Socialist liberals being born and trying to push their emotional drivel in America, without whose guns Canada would have been overthrown by China by now.

Culture plays a major role... USA culture is violent, often no education for gun-wielder, no responsibility, and mental illness create accidents. In other part of the world, everyone has military service, guns lock etc... .
How many guns have you ever purchased? Oh, you mean you don't really know what you are talking about? You are going by Obama's blatant lies about the gun show loophole?

Our citizens have no gun training? I invented a laser training system and later trained the Army and Marines to shoot. But I can't safely have a gun you say? I can put four bullets through same exact bullet hole in the 10 on the target, while aiming the gun at the ground in between shots, in a room full of fat women shooting. Try getting some training and becoming a man. Oh, wait, you think only Government workers can be real men (except people like me who merely train Government workers to shoot).

And you were probably at the nice new hotel at Harrah's casino. I used to put on mma fights there. Metropolis is rich, compared to Brookport, which is the town adjacent to it. Brookport has a bridge over the river that doesn't look safe to walk on, much less drive a vehicle. It's got to be a hundred years old. But Cairo, just down the river, wins the poverty award. It makes the other two towns look prosperous. These were all river towns. Cairo is mentioned in The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. When the US had manufacturing, the goods were shipped by the river, and loaded at river towns. Now, there's not much point to these dying towns. Off the river, the other towns in my area are coal-mining towns built around mines that went out of business long ago.

Statistics show otherwise.
There's a plethora of studies showing the exact opposite actually. Here's one of such

It states, "Those persons with guns in the home, regardless of the type of gun, number of guns, or storage practice, were at significantly greater risk of dying from a firearm homicide and firearm suicide than those without guns in the home (table 5)."

So you're admitting that if other people KNOW you don't have a gun, that makes you less safe? So you are admitting that the fact you MIGHT have a gun makes you more safe? Thanks for clarifying our point.
The fallacy here is obvious. If I even have to explain...

Ok, so you can choose not to have a gun, but some people choose to have a gun.

MY PROMISE to FELLOW HUMANS: I will never try to disarm you or force a needle on you, and I will fight to the death anyone who does (assuming you do not violate Natural Law). I hope you reciprocate.

Gun grabbers LOVE guns (in the hands of the State).

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

EXACTLY! I had just come from Tulsa with a broken heart, and the door man at Harrah's told me that Tulsa backwards spells "a sluT". 6 months there and I never noticed. It's an Oasis at Harrah's. They have a really good restaurant in the lobby.

Imagine the bar scene back in Metropolis (or any town for that matter) when everyone had money there. We need to restore that lifestyle. Farmers markets are the best model of local produce.

"One of the most beat to death gun control arguments is 'Your odds of dying go WAY higher if you have a gun in the home! No one should own guns, guns are deadly!'

"Now replace the word 'gun' with 'opioid-based painkillers' – yes, I mean the Percocets, Vicodins, Oxycontins, and all the others. Now your argument is somewhere between 5 and 107 times as pertinent, depending on the classification of suicide, and addiction/accessibility.
"Most people who use these arguments are simply regurgitating what they hear second-hand and/or are spoonfed by the mainstream media or whatever progressive outlet they choose to read. The truth is, they are largely ignoring or do not know about the danger of painkillers and other drugs in the home.

In other words, even if one skews the estimates in favor of anti-gun stance, the figures suggest that one is roughly seven times more likely to die from opioid painkillers in the home than from a gun in the home.

If progressives are so concerned about Americans' safety, why are they trying to limit our access to firearms while allowing easy access to dangerous and addictive drugs that are far more likely to kill?"

So you don't think police should carry guns? Or are you admitting that certain, well trained, responsible people can indeed safely carry guns? If so, what makes you think only government workers are well trained and responsible? The opposite is far closer to the truth. Most police want law abiding citizens to be armed. You can protect yourself, your society and maybe protect them.

Gun grabbers don't hate guns. They hate guns in the hands of anyone besides the Government.
