i don't think it is wrong, but many people do. for many reasons.

I personally couldn't date someone more than 10 or so years older than me, especially since I look so young. Like Bonhomme said, a lot of it has to do with looks compatibility. Then again I am very open minded.

And yes, when I see a 50 year old with a 20 something (man or woman), I do think "gross". I guess that is sort of shallow, but most women would have the same reaction.

Here is something else to chew on: How come the younger women with older men tend to be airheads?

Women who are over 40 will pretty much **** anything with a pulse, and come with no strings. They are easy lays. They cost you little in time and little in effort. Its a small investment for sex.Older women have fewer options, so when a semi decent guy comes along, they jump at it. They cant compete with younger better looking women. That is where a womans real value is. In her looks. Less value means less effort. I got into this discussion with an employee of mine the other day.

He thinks "it's just WRONG" for a guy over 40 to be with a woman in her early 20's. I'm 36, and that's perfectly fine, but as soon as you hit 40, he thinks it's not right.

I tried to get him to elaborate, but he couldn't. Seems his grandmother basically told him that, and you can't tell the guy any different. I used some examples to show him that this is nothing more than older women trying to eliminate their competition, and he understood where I was coming from, but the boy is SOOOOOO deep in the matrix it's a lost cause.

I took that to mean that women have formed some mass conspiracy to instill fear in older men to get them to stick with women of a certain age I guess.
