Get something that has good MPG. I don't think we'll ever see gas below $2.00 anymore. It'll probably be $3.00 by the end of summer.

It's true, some women like the motorcycle thing, and have told me so. I have no idea why, because most of the guys I see on Harleys look like middle-aged overweight
substance dependent loser types (probably compensating for something with their ride).

Y is this thread on here ? Shouldnt this be on the Vehicles Forum on Yahoo chats or something?

Honestly , if you like the car and can afford it , buy it! If it runs and gets you from A to B - who cares. If a h0 gets inside it , and its a POS but its all you can afford, and she DOESNT approve, forget her and move on .... she's materialistic ...

Let's rephrase the question I had asked:
I'm planning on buying a new car. I could buy a Toyota (great car), or pay more and get a BMW, Audi or whatever.
Is there any reason to do so as far as attracting women is concerned? So far,
noone has convinced me that there is a good reason to do so (unless I'm after young (teen) girls, which I'm not. At this point I think if I get a Toyota with leather seats, premium stereo, alloy wheels I'm probably going to do as well as anything else. I already have a truck I use.
Let me also point out that in a previous post I mentioned a guy I work with who is getting divorced that has girls all over him.
He drives a Dodge Neon (mainly because of a long commute)

FACT:

Nice cars attract chicks, let's not fool ourselves. For whatever reason, be it the "fun" factor, media hype (movies, etc), or the money factor, a nice car will definitely help your game.

That being said...

Unless your car is a royal piece of dog shyt, it will not kill your game. Personally, I see the car as a tool for getting from point A to B. Of course, what I do for a living requires extensive travel.

In my experience, the women who care the most about your car are the ones with the most gold-digger tendencies. Kind of ironic, because most anyone outside of inheritance who becomes wealthy doesn't do so by taking on the massive liability of having an expensive, tricked-out ride. It blows my mind just how many people I know who bust their hump to make the payments (and repairs, insurance, etc) on their car. You don't have to pay an arm and a leg for a car that's decent, you just have to look around. I don't know about you guys, but I'd far prefer to become successful with money in *reality* rather than with a fake image which hinders that reality from ever happening.

The bottom line:

Unless you have a massive amount of cash on your hands, your main passion in life is cars, or you have absolutely given up on the possibility of financial independence, get a car that's practical. If the chick digs you for you, it won't matter to her.

RedPill, thanks, great reply and I agree with you on your more philisophical points about spending money. It really sums up what I think is probably the truth in this matter. Two comments I have: I actually do have alot of cash, but that doesn't mean I want to spend it for nothing. If someone could demonstrate to me that
buying a new BMW is going to attract alot of women my way then I would go for it. And I don't mind someone with gold-digger "tendencies" so long as I know this and find her appealing otherwise. Interestingly, the women I've found to have some gold-digger in them all came from money poor backgrounds and seemed good people otherwise.

I think a good car can supplement a DJ's game if he plays it right. but like my pops said if you are buying a bike/car to get PU$$Y something is wrong. you've got to get yourself on point before a car or sports bike will do any good.

like i said earlier. get a classic they always atract attention and you can get em sometimes for under 10grand and need maybe 1000$ work. in my book 11 grand on a classic is cheaper than a car that is cool now but not in 20 years at 35 grand
(by classic i mean late 60s muscle cars and earlier classics)

I wouldn't get a classic. I think chicks are more into the newer, flashier cars. They don't care if it's a charger witha hemi. In my opinion, classics are a guy thing.

As long as your car is nice and clean, chicks will dig it. A really cool car will get initial attention, but I doubt they would pick a guy with a bmw over a honda for that reason alone. (bmw is sweet though).

lol, some guys are so masturbatory about cars.

Some new high performance hybrids are about to hit the market real soon. Toyota's testing their new Lexus LS600, which is a V8 hybrid. Basically, V12 power with V6 gas mileage.

BigFoot, if you care nothing about what makes a BMW a BMW, a Benz a Benz, and an Audi an Audi, then shut the hell up and buy a Toyota. If you don't care about the driving experience, and don't mind a numb steering mommy car with stupid fake wood trim instead of REAL wood trim, that has nothing even REMOTELY resembling the excellent handling of a BMW or, to a lesser extent, Benz, that has a lot more plastic and a lot less leather and is so stupid looking that people will laugh at you for buying that instead of a Nissan Altima, and are too blind to notice more stylish and luxurious and sporty Asian cars for less money (brand new Hyundai Sonata model) then go buy a Camry. You won't get more chicks who aren't gold digging hoes with the luxury cars than with the Toyota. But you won't get more chicks who know anything about cars, either. And if you even CONSIDER buying a BMW with an automatic transmission (aside from a 7 series), then you're just a small ****ed fool.

Good freaking grief. I hate car posers. I can't even believe someone who claims to be over 30 years old makes a string of posts this crappy. I'm 20 for pete's sake and I have to post this to you. I guess working at a car dealership is good for one thing.

Metal, the only thing really that makes a BMW, Merc, Audi is prestige. They usually have nice interiors and sometimes look good. But if you intend on keeping one for more than a couple years, I hear they are expensive with all the repairs. And hey, you'll look real good to your date when you're stuck on the side of the highway with your messed up fancy car. I didn't realize how many problems BMW's had until I looked online - there are numerous websites complaining about those cars. And Mercedes - their quality problems are legendary! When I looked at some BMW's, they all had automatic transmissions (rare to find a manual i've been told) so all I can say is my friends 5 speed Toyota would probably accelerate about as fast.
Generally, I think RedPill sums it up pretty well.

And from Android:
