I basically agree with you Redshift. What I meant was , the BMW is really a "showoff" car. A Toyota will beat it every time in value and reliability. The new BMW 3 series look great - and that's really the only reason to buy it !
As stated in previous posts, the car you drive probably doesn't matter alot, but I'm thinking it might add some initial attraction value.
Does anyone have some real examples of how the car they drove made a difference (doesn't matter if it's attracting only attention types) ?

no. Wrong. BMWs are more reliable than toyotas. Toyotas are the most reliable japanese car, but thats kinda like saying your the tallest midget, it just isn't all that impressive.

And this is coming from someone who hates the new BMWs. The old ones were where its at.

I'm sick of driving. I think i might get rid of my car(its an old car anyway). I might go by without a car for a little while. Theres plenty of public transport around and i might buy myself a bike as i don't go that far away from home anyway. I think a good car to get is a honda civic - i have driven a few before including the latest model and i think they are very good to drive.

i dont have a car but still get good looking women . driving an expensive car no doubt has a huge advantage over the broke guy with a pretty face or a guy with game , you got advantage to get hbs no doubt, but when you get her she,ll be fvking guys like me on the side even though she wont stick around long enough becos im broke and shes shallow iv been in this situation twice .

i still think an expensive car can help your game though some dudes dont know some girls are too shallow and wet thier pants when they see a ferrari.

back to the topic id like to get one of them new hondas i dunno why i kinda like hondas though.

Oh brother. Your first concern should be your driving needs. If you are just looking for something to drive yourself and maybe one other friend around, and want a German muscle car, get a Z3 M roadster. Alternatively, get a used Chevy Corvette C5 (the generation beginning in 1997, I think), or even an older Dodge Viper if you can find one at a good price. Get a standard Z3 if rollercoaster-style acceleration isn't your thing. If you don't care much about performance, and want style and something to haul friends and gear around, get a 2002 Cadillac Escalade or a used Mercedes M-class or BMW X5 (the Merc and BMW have been around longer, so older used models are cheaper. The 2000 and older Cadillac Escalades are fugly. Lincoln Navigators suck just because they are Fords). If you want a balance of performance and utility, get a used 3 series. If you want more luxury, get a used Mercedes car (C-class is recommended in this case).

There are SO many better options than a brand new Toyota mommy-car and Audi friggin WAGON. Buying new is pointless unless you have a lot of money or just don't care about luxury and sport. If you are thinking of buying a great brand just for the purpose of attracting women though, your punishment SHOULD be a Camry.

As far as reliability, you aren't going to automatically break down nonstop just because you don't buy a Toyota. You wouldn't need to worry about breaking down a lot unless you're 1) an idiot about maintenance, 2) buy a really badly maintained used car, or 3) own a Ford SUV. I don't mind replacing cheap stuff once in awhile if it means driving a BMW instead of a Toyota, but some people are oil-change-only nazis who can't stand possibly having to replace a couple 100-200 dollar parts every 100,000 miles. These people deserve their cheap ass Honda or Toyota (and I will keep saying this until Toyota/Lexus suddenly begin making fun to drive cars that aren't sport compacts, and until Honda/Acura starts making V8 sports cars)
