Why waste time preventing your girlfriend from cheating? If she cheats, dump her without a word. If all men broke up with cheating girlfriends instantly, without fuss, women wouldn't be so likely to cheat.

There's an interesting thought. I never looked at it from that perspective DL. Sadly though there are too many AFCs lurking about to make the world perfect like you described.

There's some boarderline sadistic stuff being said in this thread and really most of it is rhetorical at best (fitting though for this site as of recent). All I can say is the best relationships I've seen in my years on this planet are PARTNERSHIPS and not based on one spouse (male or female) striving for power/control over the other. These modern eutopian relationships result in the bettering of both parties in all aspects of life. I know the concept is very difficult for many of you to grasp but in our everchanging modern world, this is the definative "healthy" relationship. Back to what DL was saying, there's some 150 million women living in the US alone. If you're dating one and they cheat DUMP THEM. 150 million should be a substantial enough dating pool where you can find at least one who will be a compatable partner for you.

That's a habit I started getting into. Not just with cheating women, but if they were disrespectful or flakey or showed low interest, I moved on. I guess I could have spent my time trying to manipulate them, but it's not worth the effort when I could be getting on with my life and meeting other women.

Realising you are too good for this sh!t and walking away...that's real confidence.

I think the world of my current girlfriend and can easily say she's the best girl I've ever been with. BUT if she cheats or disrespects me, I walk! I think she knows this and respects me more for it!

Mr Elor, i really think that ur probably one of those nice guys whos always nice to girls....but ur missing out that we live in the 21st century, and because of this, its either PLAY or BE PLAYED.

why does sosuave exist? sosuave preaches against being the nice guy (because nice guys are controlled by women), but sosuave also teaches many techniques with which u can emotionally control women WITHOUT EVEN MAKING IT OBVIOUS - u wanna control the women's emotions by making sure she adores u, she respects u, she wants to fvck u, and she wont cheat on u (among other things)

u NEED to control the situation or else u will get played/used/dumped w/e the case may be.......you as the man MUST be in control, and everything u do to gain control is done on an emotional level using sosuave techniques.

It's true that I'm a nice guy, however I'm nice without being desperate or wimpish. I admit I used to let women control me when i really shouldn't have let them, but it's a different story now.

I agree with being in control in a relationship (the way nature says we should), and I'm sick of owmen being in control. However no matter what you say, I'll never condone controlling a owman in any form.

I believe that I should be a decent enough guy without having to resort to tricks. Not an 'AFC', not a jerk, just a decent guy. not bending to a woman's whims, but not being a control freak either.

Religion isnt as influential, the media influences us differently, society is not the same, new life altering discoveries have been made.

In terms of attraction media plays a very big part and a lot of the men and women who were considered attractive in the 70s or 80s would not be considered so attractive today.

Also media influences the way WE choose to look.

lastly... regarding what we like or dont like, ofcourse media/society plays a role.. Youre just talking about IQ levels here. How many of these guys would be capable of programming or even just playing on a computer, or socialising in a club and how many of them still believe in disproven and outdated religious theories?

If you let them live in todays society for a few decades they could maybe catch up but the fact is a lot of their knowledge is outdated. Da Vincis flight plans and contraptions were ingenious in his day but we're living in an era of stealth bombers, concordes and space shuttles. It's because we have taken his ideas and EVOLVED.
