Just an impression which I hope is wrong.

Veterans no longer post as often as before, some even disappeared while new members despite being normal to be uneducated at the beginning, dont produce much content.

It even seems the reputation point has been made more generous, checking some great posters with sticked threads from 10 years ago with a couple of green gems and some random new come with 5 greens after 300 posts.

I don't think many of the veterans on the board will disagree with me when I say that moderation has taken a turn for the worse. I say that with all due respect.

I feel it is a duty to come back and help the younger generation through this site, much like it helped me a decade or so ago. But it's gotten tougher, the internalized matrix is getting stronger and stronger and now we have self-proclaimed fem/lib/tards here posting as if the site belonged to them. Many veterans are just saying f*ck it, in my opinion.

In my 5 or 6 years as a mod, I find people usually don't like us for one of two reasons:

We aren't banning members they don't like, or we closed a thread/banned a member they were emotionally invested in.

Sometimes, we have mods who abuse their power. It is unfortunate. A mod can only be removed by the site admin. Additionally, one "bad cop" can make the rest of the force look really bad. People see only the bad, not the countless threads we move, close, or spam posts we delete. Most of us have been posting here so long we don't peruse threads on a daily or even weekly basis sometimes. So things get missed.

This board is the sum of its members. People have been saying this forum is going to hell in a handbasket for years....and yet here we are. I get that there is an ebb and flow of good posting. When it sucks, I just peace out for a while. When it's good, my posts have more impact and just don't fall by the wayside. It's just a forum. Get while the gettin's good, and go live your life when it isn't.

You sure about that? That Vice kid had quite the little angry boner for PHM as I recall. Combine that with gaylan spamming the "report bad post" button because the word faggot sent "him" reaching for the fainting couch and VOILA!! Banned member.

edit: That latest neg rep point you just gave me gaylan has sent me reeling. This is an outrage !! :cuss:

Lol. Isn't that the truth?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Was wondering where you had went. It does seem like a lot of the vets that were here when I joined are either gone, or just don't post. Then I realize a lot of threads just aren't worth posting in. There really are a lot of posts asking the same questions.

you might have "outgrown" the forum as well.

these days i come here mostly out of habit but everything posted here is the same old recycled arguments and theories. its all so foreign to me, theres little to no allure from the content. the politics and race threads make it even worse.

like you said theres also the "new experts". guys who have been reading for 3-6 months and wanna come in here and try and school people who have been in the field for years. they take the alpha/beta stuff to literally and try to establish some sort of dominance on an internet forum lmao.

just take a step back, go on some adventures and then come back with your stories.

maybe i should start posting more field reports to show these limp dik fuk-ups how its done and hopefully motivate them to start posting their own
you've only been here since 2013. why are you talking down about people like you're some war-torn veteran who's seen it all?

why 'maybe' you should post FR's. why not just do it?

It's as though it is not a reality to create a troll account, then a second one, then rep the other back-and-forth to create the illusion of belonging.

Troll1account: I've got a question that will p¡ss you off...
ImnotTroll1: I agree. That question is great. You aren't a woman.
Troll1account: Thanks, reps for you.
ImnotTroll1: Cool, reps for you, too!
notthesame1: I disagree, the question doesn't p¡ss me off. Stay positive!

*GASP!* 3 accounts from the same troll?!!! No Way!!!

Look around. There has to be 40 posters sucking each other's vaginas who have been here for a month (under this name, hehe), two tops.

The world, internet especially, is overpopulated with ƒuckwits.
Ban them.
They'll grow back.
It ultimately doesn't matter if they are banned, anyway. They can still buy the products, they can still see the advertisments, they can still see the helpful material... they just can't post.
What's the hang up?
Feelings?

In forest management, you burn periodically to remove trash and to promote better growth.

Ban retards and the forum will grow back better.

It's probably best I'm not a moderator... I would unleash a hellfire that would obliterate junk posts, junk threads, and junk posters. That, and I'd have to change my name.

But this is Murrrica 2014. We put the retards up on a pedestal, and create unnatural ways for them to procreate and survive. We do not learn from other doomed civilizations, because we are self proclaimed smarter than them.

hmm it just dawned on to me. This forum is in bad health is because the NEW posters are in bad health you can say.

what i mean is, sosuave is a hospital. the patients are the new members. some members become doctors and some members will never heal. Some members will seek other treatment else where and some members will finally be healthy and will be discharged.

The cool part is that you get to choose where you end up. A doctor, a terminally ill patient, a member on the road to recovery.

I should stop smoking weed before coming here.

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.

And being here since 2012 means you can call him out for making a very valid point? Midnight said something very correct about how most relationship/dating forums and their members tend to operate; people come and go, and there will always be noobies trying to prove themselves.

Chill out.

Good analysis.

I will also say that there are some veterans here who say things and give advice that perpetuates negativity and bad health. But there are some very wise veterans who always come into a thread seeking to lead the noobies toward positivity and good health. Their approach is much like a concerned doctor, or even that of an older brother or uncle thats trying to get your mind right.

 Was your oddly out of place and manufactured "annoyance" at two fellas ribbing each other really needed sweetheart? wtf are you doing? You need a job or something. 8000 posts over at loveshack and 2000 over here in such a short amount of time is not healthy for anyone. (I'm betting there's more somewhere else too)

Give the backhanded passive aggressive "chill outs" and "butt hurts" concern trolling a rest for awhile eh?

Speaking of malpractice, note the poster above you.

That was part of the point of my last post. We have certain members here who mostly seek to flame other members and give poor negative advice to noobies. All forums have their resident trolls though; thus its par for the course.

As she ramps up the concern to critical. All for the "members" of course.

The ones we don't spam "report bad post" and continually whine to the mods over. The wrong kind, the non-loveshack kind.

Don't always be the one putting yourself out for her. Don't always be the one putting all the effort and work into the relationship. Let her, and expect her, to treat you as well as you treat her, and to improve the quality of your life.

The rep system can be manipulated because how much rep points you receive from a post is calculated by amount of rep and join date of the person that is giving it to you. Most of the time you can re-post popular opinions (self-respect, walking away, etc) and fill up the green meter. I think a lot of my rep came from making jokes and posting field reports. I still have a lot to learn and experience, take my rep and posts with a grain of salt. Sometimes, it might be the green bars under my name that makes me put a lot more ego into my post than intended. If it's possible, can I have my rep points reset?

That is very refreshing to hear because I've had moments when my rep definitely super-cedes me. I believe more often than not, a lot of newer members on SoSuave will act out relevant to the high rep members' advice. It is not always the case, as you've realized. Every scenario is different. Women are different. If the highest regarded member of 'Seduction' were to pass on wisdom they would be a trillionaire.

From what Ive seen, most posters pay more attention to the content of the post rather than the green dots of the poster.

This place isnt like bodybuilding.com forums, where idiots think e-rep means everything. Over there a member can make a good post and be ignored or trolled by some members because of his rep. "lolol....OP is red....nothing to see here" or "zuh? what? negged for being a red phaggot" or "reps please...I rep back". Its like a goddamn internet popularity contest.
