What scenario? In case you didn't notice, my question was not based on the OP's problem. I meant disrespectful in general. I don't know about you, but I think it's more manly to say, "Hey girl, I don't accept being treated like that. Either you're not doing it again, or we're through."

The advantage of texting is that you could do it while doing something useful, while calling uses all of your attention. And with SMS, we could talk about silly things that's not worth talking over the phone.

Well, in my country text messaging is a widely used way to communicate with a significant other. So yeah, it's hard to stop that habit.

because usually we reply each other every 5 minutes or so. 1 hour is too much and it's as if she doesn't respect me.

I get impatient if my GF take a long time before replying my SMS. What would you do if your GF takes a long time (about an hour) to reply to one of your text messages? Act cool like nothing's happened? Reply back after a long time too? Or ask her why she did that?
