GF thinks Im being not caring and etc..........

What does it mean when a GF says "I just want you to make more effort to keep me. You've already got me, but it doesn't mean you can be all relaxed. What if a better man come around? You've got to make yourself special and standout from other men." So it's true that LTR is hard as hell..

GF thinks Im being not caring and etc..........

I kinda mentioned that to my GF, saying "I've been doing the same thing for this 9 months we're together. But it's only now that you're saying I don't care enough?" To which she answered, "Well, maybe because in the first 9 months I'm still in the "head over heels" phase. I'm not saying that I...

How to show a girl you care while not looking like you want approval?

BUMP. I have the same problem myself. My GF told me that she didn't feel I really put much effort in this relationship.

How to deal with "explosive" GF..

I think it's not because insecurity that I still have doubts to breakup. But maybe because our relationship have a lot of sentimental values, and she can be the sweetest GF ever from time to time. Anyway, I'm seriously considering a breakup and I hope I won't post anything about my GF anymore.

How to deal with "explosive" GF..

My GF is a bit introvert, especially in the case of speaking out her feelings when she's mad at me. When I'm able to persuade her to speak, she does it in an explosive way; with crying and a bit of yelling. I told her that she must try to speak calmly and I don't like being yelled at. But she...

I don't know how to comfort/cheer my GF when she needs it.

I don't know, I was so confused. On one hand, I loved her. On the other hand, I was afraid the relationship won't work out in the long run..

I don't know how to comfort/cheer my GF when she needs it.

Since when does suggesting a split mean a person doesn't love his/her partner that much? ;)

I don't know how to comfort/cheer my GF when she needs it.

I think the thing that's keeping our relationship last is our love to each other. No matter what problems we had, love conquered them all.

I don't know how to comfort/cheer my GF when she needs it.

Well, she didn't exactly say "for now." The more exact words are: "There's still nobody that can replace you. I still can't love a man except you." At least I DID propose a breakup. But when she said she didn't want to and still loved me, it made me reconsider. Beside, I still love her, too.

I don't know how to comfort/cheer my GF when she needs it.

I've been generally happy in this relationship. But when she brings up things like this, it makes me wonder whether this relationship is worth continuing.

I don't know how to comfort/cheer my GF when she needs it.

OK, so finally she opened up to me. This is the essence of what she said: -She's been upset these last couple of days. Because she feels that I lack initiative and effort, I'm this, I'm that. -Logically she feels this relationship is fine, but her heart says that something is wrong. -She...

I don't know how to comfort/cheer my GF when she needs it.

Thanks for your answer. It's comforting to know that it might not be my fault if I'm not able to cheer her up. But when she said "cheer me up", she looked at me like she expected me to say/do something. When I kept silent, she seemed very disappointed. Once, I said to her, "It will soon be OK"...

I don't know how to comfort/cheer my GF when she needs it.

To end or not to end.. Everytime my GF is upset or in a bad mood, I always seem lost for words. I can't say anything beside the usual "what's wrong?" which she usually answers with "I don't know" or "nothing". I know that she only needs to be comforted/cheered, but I don't know how. Yesterday...
