speed dating event
Speed dating is a dog crap quality event. Spiritual people would refer to speed dating as low vibrational, meaning that it is filled with negative or toxic energy.

Men who view themselves as quality men are best served by avoiding speed dating and all structured singles events.

Speed dating and singles events have mediocre to subpar women rejecting anything that isn't top tier. Since we are on the topic of rejection rates, avoiding speed dating and singles events will reduce rejection rates.

It is ego crushing to get rejected by such mediocre and subpar looking women at speed dating and singles events.

And if one resides in any major metropolitan area within The Anglosphere, a substantial portion of the female population will be up on the Non-Binary bandwagon, contemplating a sex change, or in the midst of DEtransitioning from the change they already underwent
LOL. I live in the SF Bay Area. The VAST majority of women are in no way ‘non-binary…’. A ‘substantial portion of the female population’ is Not trooning.

I only had one official rejection at the event (the woman had good looks)

None of the men at the event were what I would describe as top tier. Yet a lot of the men appeared to do well during the open floor at the end.

I've learned on this thread that it's somewhat common for a man to get rejected 90-something percent of the time.

I suppose the difference between myself and other men with 90-something percent rejection rates is my history of the freaky creep stigma.

Ever since the rejection at the speed dating event, I've found myself repeatedly saying (in my head) the words I heard in high school "you're a freaky creep no girl would possibly want" while walking down the hallway at work this week.

I am confident most got rejected when they asked for a date or phone number.

At least the 50-year old lady at work, among other ladies there find you attractive. It's not just only your mother.

Remember you didn't acutally get rejected by anyone that way (ie like being a freaky creep), but were Amogged, which is technically/and in a nuanced way different from a rejection, although they feel the same way (ie I wasn't good enough compared to the other guys). Both are toxic/negative, but I think "freaky creep" is worst than saying you were "not good enough". At least saying "not good enough" could motivate you to self-improve to become more competitive. "Freaky Creep" doesn't help you to motivate.

I often feel I'm not good enough compared to other guys. If the competition is 20-something year old guys, how can I compete if I'm 48 years old? I won't be good enough for a girl who is into 20-something year old guys. Some of these things you can't help.

Agreed. The less interaction you have with any women will reduce rejection rates, especially speed dating.

I guess we'll never know.

The fact they weren't immediately told to scram (like I was by the one broad I asked) is a promising sign, however.

I know at least one set of digits were exchanged (because I heard a broad bragging to her friend about getting a man's digits)

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.

The "how can a 48 year old man compete with a 20 year old" is precisely how I bagged some of my free cougars in my younger days

You're right, being called a freaky creep gives you less incentive to improve (compared to simply being told you aren't good enough). With 4 years of being viewed as a freaky creep in high school, I eventually started to believe it. To this day, I subconsciously think any woman who wants to stay with me long-term must have something seriously wrong with her.

For that matter, I remember being perplexed at why broads were sad after getting dumped by me (Because shouldn't they be glad to be free of the freaky creep?)

That falls in the 'not available' category.

I played around some more with the AI rater.

A picture from my senior year of high school yielded a 7.98 (basically an 8), which makes it all the more surprising I was a leper in high school.

As late as age 27, I was coming up in the 7s in some images.

And the broads in high school who thought they were too good for me? It's not like they were turning me down in favor of 9s and 10s. The guys they ended up dating (or at least mentioned being attracted to) were similar to me in terms of looks (sometimes even less attractive than me)

My bad luck doesn't make one bit of sense. Even in college when I (solidly in the 7s at the time) had some degree of success, I was using tech methods to bang broads I (in some cases) wasn't even attracted to. Meanwhile, a classmate who looked a lot like me had a decent-looking college girlfriend he got his sex from (Incidentally, just now, I happened to find a picture online of him with a current girlfriend. His current girlfriend came back as an 8.5 on the AI rater)

If you are actually very good looking. You already will know it. People (acquaintances, friends, even strangers) of both sexes will tell you. Women will hit on you. People will give you free drinks, food etc. Women will talk dirty around you and not be offended by your off color banter. And. You won’t ever need or even consider asking anyone or any AI if you are GL. You already know.

On the surface, what you're saying sounds reasonable.

Keep in mind though, I'm an autist. In addition to the fact my ASD will turn a lot of broads off, my ASD also means I might fail to pick up on certain flirts the broads who aren't turned off throw at me.

I've had female coworkers through the years tell me I look good. Even though it doesn't happen as often (now that I'm aging), I've had broads in public comment on my good looks before (as well as gay guys flat out offering me sex)

As for the free food thing, a male manager at a Taco Bell gave me free food back when I was 23 or 24. It never occurred to me he might have been attracted to me. There was also a coffee/hot chocolate stand that would frequently give me free hot chocolate (it happened so often, I don't even remember the gender makeup...with how often it happened, I would guess both male employees and female employees gave me the free stuff) around that age (23-24). Hmm.

All in all, I have unique circumstances that might explain why I use an AI rater to double check whether I have good looks.

Even a sexless first date that never leads to a 2nd date still counts as a success.
Yeah if you could being friendzoned as a W. To me, it has to go beyond dating. There has to be sex at the minimum. Getting a number don't count. I got a woman's number off Bumble, got no response to text or phonecall, messaged her a pic of me and someone I was piping out and said I hooked up with a woman who actually answered my phonecalls. And I unmatched the girl before she unmatched me. I do the same to one-phonecall wonders.

Stop worrying about your rates of rejection, and start focusing on the times you achieve your goal

If you want to know about rejection, try getting a book published.

Getting rejected by some floozy is really nothing worth contemplating.

Who cares. This isn't baseball.

Rejection is not real. I repeat, rejection is not real. You are probably infusing a woman not selecting you in that moment with more power than it can possibly have.

There are so many variables at play - timing, availability, the interaction, what's happening in life - that even if you were to make a stat sheet it would explain less than nothing. It's not the same as swinging and missing because it was a slider.

The problem is most guys bring their work analytics into their social life and believe that thinking like a man will get them on a woman's wavelength. Ride the wave, fellas.
