Why are men shamed for using escorts/hookers? Isnt that the ultimate dread if a guy has used them?

The summer when I broke up with my girlfriend when I was 27, I nailed two hookers that summer. It was kind of a relief. Felt like an adult for one, got her out of my mind a little secondly, just honestly felt though like I was stepping a little into the dark side, and it felt good to be a little ominous.

Can you elaborate further in why you would say that made you feel like an adult, in contrast to having a girlfriend? You did not approach this as a 14 year old teenager, nor as a 27 year old incel. Did it keep your ex-gf out of your mind after the encounter or did it just numb your feelings towards her for a while? What do you mean stepping into the dark side?

It's intereting that we found ourselves in similar circumstnaces when we used hookers. When I used one in 2014 it was when both my ex-wife and myself were divorcing each other. It was an "adult' experience with me (ie what you mean that it made you feel like an adult) and did numb my feelings towards my ex-wife because the intensity of it and ease in which it was accessed. However, I got a nasty hit from it. I didn't feel like I went a little into the dark side, but fell off a cliff into an ocean of darkness below full speed ahead and had a nervous break-down because of the level of the darkness involved. Maybe you have some shield on so you did not get the full onslaught of darkness from these types of nasty women. I guess each experience is difference.
