Anyone else see frustrated guys falling into this trap? They think that money is more important than fundamentals, than strategy, than behavior, than lifestyle. It's ridiculous.

Mental midgets like Andrew Tate push this narrative and so it's a myth that refuses to die.

If you think money is what gets women and you actually get money, you'll end up being a beta ATM which she withdraws money from and gives you boring, perfunctory sex at most. Then she'll get actual romance and sex on the side when you aren't looking, and the guy will likely be some broke musician or barista.

Here's the thing: all of incels in San Francisco and Silicon Valley are making a lot of money, 6 figures minimum. A decent number are making around 700k a year. They aren't getting sex, the tattooed line cook who serves them food is. Even the drug addicts on the streets are doing better.

Why? Because women are attracted to your identity & your vibe, not your cash. Money only correlates with things women are attracted to, such as competence, status, and independence.

I'd like to devote this thread to discussing money and myths about money & attraction.

Yes to a certain extent. But I'll tell you, even the alpha male who gives them great s3x and they obsess over, they'll at some time get tired of him if he doesn't have the means to financially provide the life she wants.

So I believe that out of all the factors of masculinity: Looks, game, status, money; money matters the least but its still important to an extent.

The "means" you're describing is just a middle-class lifestyle. Yeah, if you flip burgers your whole life, many women will not view you as marriage material.

Only gold diggers demand that a man is able to put her in a mansion. In that situation, she isn't even attracted to him and the sex is terrible. She's just greedy, and she will seek her sexual/romantic fulfillment from someone besides her ATM provider.

Money in relation to attraction is one of those things where we should avoid an "all or nothing" mentality. Just because being well off doesn't dramatically increase attractiveness doesn't mean being broke is better, far from it actually.

Above a fairly mediocre threshold it's just not as much of a factor anymore, maybe being richer could yield a little bit of extra attraction with a subset of women, but there are really diminishing returns at that point.

Being broke on the other hand would exclude a decent amount of women from the pool of possibilities, but not all. That's because it's not nearly one of the most important factors, which seems to be the point you're trying to make.

Some guys put a disproportionate amount of emphasis on having money in order to attract women, when improving other easier aspects of themselves would have significantly more effect on their attractiveness. Unless you're poor it should be pretty far down on the list of priorities and even then there are plenty of opportunities if you focus on maximizing the most effective parts of attraction.

It definitely doesn't hurt. If you think otherwise you are delusional
I never said it hurts. I said it's a minor factor, and most of its apparent attractiveness is actually correlating factors: status, competence, independence, confidence, and so on.

There's an aweful lot of bums and drug dealers with harems of women.

Just saying.
Bums in Silicon Valley are literally having more sex than tech bros. This is not an exaggeration.

Yeah, lowlifes constantly have a girl who is crazy about them. These girls constantly make excuses for their man being broke.

So a man should go shoot up with Coke to attract women? Haven't heard that before.

In any event, money matters depending on the AGE of the women. A 22 year old girl isn't going to care about money, she has sex appeal and is going to care about a man's height and hair and body A 42 year old woman with 2 kids is going to care about money, she has 0 sex appeal is going to care about a man's bank balance.

Everything depends on a woman's youth.

My opinion is that money does matter greatly if you’re making it in a way that makes you happy and the best version of yourself.

If you’re making money but hate your job, you’re not gonna be an attractive partner. If you’re making no money, but love your job, you’re gonna be an attractive partner. It’s as simple as that.

From a purely sex perspective...Money does not matter. However, if you add in socioeconomics and the wall for men, it does matter. That tattooed young line cook is able to get laid in San Francisco easier than the tech bro because of supply and demand. There's plenty of waitresses, coke heads, and lower socioeconomic women for him to bang. Meanwhile, the Tech Bro has to date women on his level or a woman similar to him which is much lower than supply. Eventually, the young line cook is going to become a middle-aged line cook with nothing and be having sex with lower quality women because he is behind in the SMV marketplace now. The Tech Bro can either settle with a woman to his liking or keep playing the field because he has a decent job that makes up for his age. At the end of the day, do you want to envy the guy banging low quality women and hitting a hard wall at age 30 or be the guy with fewer options but more bargaining power? I could be classified as a Tech Bro and I am not over here envying the line cook's trashy women he is banging.

Money becomes a bigger factor for women when the wall begins to approach mercilessly in the late 20s/early 30s.

But the caveat is that is only if you're playing the game from a provider role. If you make it clear early and often through sexualizing the interaction that you're not the bf/husbeta candidate, it won't matter much for a quick fling. You're either the wallet or the dildo. You don't wanna be the wallet anyway so if money is a thing that she's looking for, she's either on the husbeta market or you fvcked up early in the process.

"do not pay attention to what women say, pay attention to what they do." All breeds of b!tches do broke asses all the time.

Yes and no.

What attracts women is personality and status.

Looks play a role to open the door.

Money comes after when she will decide for her if you are marriage material.

money for relationships/keeping the girl (be able to spend a tonne on her and give her the lifestyle she desires)

Looks for getting laid with lots of random hot girls (be young, tall, good jawline, ripped, good hair etc. You can be the ultimate loser in life but you'll still get laid a lot with very hot, very young girls)

The rest is basically irrelevant
