Someone asked me the other day if I'd ever be willing to date a short guy. I'm a tall girl, so for me "short" is anyone under 6'0. If you're a cute short guy, have no fear, a lot of girls are into it. Most tall girls aren't though... so your chances of dating a model are really slim.

My ex, who was on the shorter side, once said something like, "I'm sure you'll leave me for a tall dude." Why so insecure though? He also lost his **** on me when I spoke to a tall guy at his work. That was the only time he ever threw a fit of jealousy and it happened to be with a tall guy. Coincidence? I think not.

It would be great to know what her exact height is. She only says that 6'0"+ is her acceptable range. This makes me think she's somewhere in the 5'9"-5'11" range.

I don't think most men are upset when women on the taller side want to date men on the taller side. I think when men get pissed off is when women who are 5'6" or shorter start to demand 6'0"+ men.

I'm in a difficult spot. I'm 5'10" and I think the most attractive women are on the taller side (5'7"+) with either slender or athletic physiques. 5'7"-5'8" is about the max height where I can have some success. Even 5'7"-5'8" women need to be somewhat open minded to date me. 5'9"-5'10" women need to be even more open minded. 5'11"+ for me is likely a losing proposition from an effort standpoint.

It's not just high heels either. There are plenty of women who wear platform shoes that can increase their height as well.

This is about a woman's public image.

I wouldn't put the number at 99.9% of women you see in public, but I would put the number above 90%.

Nah, don't make it more complex than it is. Deal with what's in front of you, because that's what matters. It's what is attractive to the other. If one makes a big deal out of height, the other can make a big deal out of breast size.
If she can discredit me for lack of height, I can discredit her for lack of breasts. Real simple. Next. Try it sometime, it takes them off their high horse real quick.

Ive done it on a date before. Chic complained I wasn't as tall as she thought. I was same height I listed on my OLD profile. I looked at her breasts and said hmm yeah you must of had some amazing push up bra in your pics. She quickly came to her senses. That's why it's the same thing. ;-)

So therefore, the bigger the height gap in your advantage, the more leeway you would have for your mistakes or underdevelopment of other areas.

That women blogged that short men equates to having short kids. The interesting thing is, men height is usually from the mother, and women height from father. So short father would more likely to equate to short daughters, not short sons and daughters.
