The whole "women lose value at 30" thing doesn't work anymore now that people are aging slower.

Nah. It’s not. The wall is undefeated.
It is challenging to believe that when 55 year old women are having their inboxes flooded with messages on Match and OurTime.
The phucking media parading 68 year old Christie Brinkley in swimsuit pics and now 64 year old Sharon Stone topless most certainly isn't helping.

In the minds of a lot of delusional (older) women these days, there is no wall.

Christie Brinkley has retained looks pretty well. She's not as good looking as she was at 28 or 48. Most 68 year olds look terrible.

Liz Hurley is 57 and everywhere in swimsuit pics. She's also aged well. Liz Hurley was way better looking 25 years ago in the first Austin Powers movie.

Paulina Porizkova was complaining about her experiences on Hinge at age 56 last year. I'm sure her swipe queue was filled to the brim though.

These women do look exceptional for there age, the problem is the average run-down looking 55 y/o thinking that "this could be them".

I think the age/loss of value thing with women boils down to her experience to a point.

An 18 year old single mother with 2 kids is less valuable than a 30 year old virgin.
It’s a function of relationship mileage and chronological age. For my purposes, a 35 year old Virgin is damn near as useless as a 35 year old sloot. They both have terrible reproductive value.

I see the wall as very real, but layered according to men’s perceptions.
You can look at a 35 year old and think she’s pretty hot from a macro level. Study her a little more, and you can see some signs of age. Look deeper, and you start to notice those wrinkles that are just starting, the beginnings of the loss of jaw bone mass, the eyes and mouth that are just starting to droop.

I think we men tend to “pretty them up” on our initial viewings, but then over a short period of time a more realistic view intrudes on our illusions. Our first response is to face paint, clothing, and overall figure. We idealize these things at first. But that wears off.

I’ve noticed that as I’ve gotten older and more perceptive, you can see aging in women at the tender age of 28. That’s when the first little signs of wear snd tear appear.
Don't forget the biological wall too is dead set in stone..
A women which cannot give birth to children is a used "asset" (In lack of better words); so a such is useless to all men and the society as a whole. This is even one reason more why older women hate their younger "sisters" as they do "know" at some unconscious/conscious level that they have been spent and are desperate to still look young..

That wall cannot be moved no matter what people think or "feel" it should be otherwise. It just is there; unmovable and solid.

A 30 year old virgin is a Greek Myth lol. A more realistic scenario is this: Rank these Partnership wise

A). You have an attractive 32 year old woman that put her career first, stayed in great shape, and is now looking to settle
B). A 24 year old single mom that's attractive, doesn't have a lucrative job
C). A 25 year old nurse that's overweight, aggressively displays Toxic Hot Girl Summer behavior, constantly posting drinking on snapchat
D). A 24 year old skinny Average overall looking girl that's an accountant

Now all of these women have something negative that brings them down, but obviously high body fat/toxic behaviors and having a kid out of wedlock are going to have a heavier toll on a woman's marking.

My ranking would be D -- A -- C -- B/. I think having a kid is the biggest wall a woman can hit then it's weight gain then it's age. Put an older woman and single mom, same looks ranking wise and I'm going to choose the older woman all day without question. Now I think the overweight girl will beat the older woman if she was older than 36sh for sure.

There's a reason there's lots of stories of the old witch attempting to steal the youth of younger women and children.

So if I've got this straight, men place a high value on fertility (for obvious reasons), but then once a woman becomes pregnant and has a kid (due to her fertility) suddenly she loses value and has hit the wall?

I hope someone can answer cuz I'm really shaking my head at that one.

Super confusing.
Why is it confusing? An alpha/sigma male doesn't raise another man's spawn. It is quasi cuck behavior to raise another man's child if the father of the child is still alive. I have a "no single moms, no exceptions" policy. Some men might be ok with a single mom if she was widowed through no fault of her own, and those men are likely single dads themselves. A childless man committing to a single mom, even without marriage, is low value behavior. It's even lower value if she doesn't ever have kids with her.

When men want children, they want to raise their own biological children or mutually agreed upon adopted children. Not some spawn part of a package deal with some baby daddy drama.

A single mom has demonstrated in most cases an inability to pair bond, an inability to evaluate men well, and has not effectively used birth control if she realized her relationships were unstable.

Essentially, men don't want to raise another responsible man's kid. Even if the girl was infertile, I'd still choose her over a single mom.

My ranking would be D -- A -- C -- B/.
B is the bottom due to single motherhood, but has value for not being a careerist. C is complete crap. I agree with the last two in terms of ranking, though B would be better for a short term pump and dump if that's you're thing because she is at least attractive. I prefer extended relationships.

D and A are a toss up. How many hours a week does A work? D is an accountant. Accountants are boring and they often have demanding careers, so D may be as much of a career oriented woman as A. Not enough information to decide the top option between the two.

What I assumed (mistakenly) I guess because it wasn't clear in @Jake_Gyllenhaal69 's post or I wasn't understanding it correctly, was that a man values fertility in his girlfriend or wife and when that SAME man impregnates his girlfriend or wife and she has his kid, suddenly in HIS eyes she loses value.

I am glad I was mistaken about that!
Most men are fine with impregnating their own girlfriend or wife until it starts to affect his own sex life. Many men do get pisssed when their post-babies sex life goes down the toilet.

Well from what I understand, giving birth is quite traumatic for a woman, it affects hormones etc not to mention the physical exhaustion from caring for a newborn. And so a temporary drop off in sexual desire/activity is to be expected after the child is born.

I would assume if he loves her and his child, and generally excited about being a dad, he would at least try to understand this and not take the temporary lack of sex so personally?

I dunno, I seem to be making a lot of assumptions which I probably shouldn't be but appreciate your candor, as always.
You only cover the first few months to a year after childbirth. Think about the guy who has kids who are 7 and 4. He's been dealing with a diminished sex life for 7 years. That doesn't feel temporary. That's a part of why a lot of marriages go into the toilet after the kids arrive. The time it takes to raise kids often interferes with having sex.

Women with children are an extreme liability. Men do not want to pay for another man’s kid. In the animal kingdom most male mammals simply kill the other offspring before procreation.

The other issue is that she’s not going to bond to you very well. She’s bonded to her kid and has a, presumably, traumatic past that led her to be a single mother. It’s all just a sh1t sandwich and it only makes sense to really really thirsty guys as a viable option. I mean, you drink your own pee if you’re thirsty enough, so I see how men drop their standards to sh1t if they are scarce.
Most men don’t consciously think of the bonding thing. It’s really as simple as why the fvck am I paying my hard earned money to another man’s child. That’s like being a human sacrifice. No thank you.

Men, if you are childless avoid baby mommas and single mothers at all costs.

Men get stronger (and cynic) through challenges, women get more mentally unstable, jaded and hostile.

After a certain point men never fully commit to a woman and women totally fail to pairbond.
Damn this is very true. Haunting

So women are amazing at perceiving subtle changes in their value. I had one girl I used to party with tell me that she noticed less guys hitting on her from only about 1 yr ago. They have a very attuned spidey sense about it. So yes they can still get beta's but they will never truly respect these dudes. They will probably cheat on them and any chance they get to be with the true alpha they will take it.

Women are not stupid. They know that a true "alpha" is out trying to date 24 yr olds. Who knows maybe in the future I will be that beta haha. I am not judging these guys. Life happens.

I can only see 2 reasons to commit to a woman - either she is still young enough to be fertile, or the man is old enough that he needs a caretaker.
Exactly. Children is the only reason I would commit to a woman. They are too much of a headache for you to commit for any other reason. Caretaker is a second reason but if you have enough money you can buy one of those.

I totally get the double standard and that men feel the opposite about women.
The double standard is frustrating for both genders.

Women: How dare you judge me for how many partners I've had

Men: How dare you judge me for the lack of how many partners I've had

Can't you just make it clear that you refuse to help raise the kid?

That's what I did and she didn't give a ****.
