Well I have news for you. You will never give up this hobby. Never. You may take a break from it if you meet the right girl, or just enough to make a good impression with her, but to really give it up. I don't see that happening. My father had a similar problem like you and he carried it right into the marriage. The only time you'll be able to quit such a thing is when you get very old and lose your libido or you see the damage this causes to your future wife/kids/family, especially if you see your son / children start to look out for prostitutes because you are setting that example. $500? I dont pay that much ever for one girl. Only went to 'gogo' bars a couple of times, where you have to pay the fines. Ended up going to more night clubs, hanging about areas with students so didn't have to pay fines, but usually paid for a meals, taxis', drinks etc. If you're young and half decent looking, you don't really need to resort to going to the blatant red light districts.
