1. You have to ask for the texting advice from people of your own SMV, what works for the 8/10+ guys doesn't work for the 6/10 guys.
2. Your pics are sh1t! it's not that your face is sh1t it's just that the pics are so dull...there's no reason for women to even bother reading more than a line if that. You make $200k a yr, spend the $500-700 on quality photos. You're actually slimming your chances by using crappy pics because once women pass on you even if you improve your pics later they won't be shown your pics again, unless you start completely over on most apps (i.e. new facebook account to link with etc) and even then women will now have seen your 'no-makeup' face before your 'makeup' face. Not the same impression.

alright im gonna get shredded and get very high quality pics in about 2 months with a professional photographer.

I figure it will be enough to get some new traffic on these sites

as it stands, I have no chance with anything above a 3/10 so I'm quitting all the sites altogether

I’ve never done online dating so I’m no expert for sure. I would much rather approach. I get to see her nuances and her expressions and my body will let me know if there’s something there that I like.

Guru’s text dismisses her right off the bat. It implies that he looked at her some time in the past but for whatever reason dismissed her. Boom. With the next thought he’s possibly giving her a chance.

With yours, the mere act of not sending her a message is a dismissal when she sees your picture and reads your hook and wonders where you have been hiding and why wasn’t she cute enough for you to send a message.

Both are womaneeze for dismissed. I’ve never done OLD but I see the reality.

Unfortunately for Dave, you cannot tell him his pics are the issue and to get a pro photographer as that has already been told to him for the last two years. His EGO needs to FEEL the rejection to prompt the change in behavior.

As to what I use, I go with "Hello." OLD is 90% pic-driven.

The funny/suggestive pickup lines don't work in 2018/2019 unless the woman is ga-ga over your looks already. Women have heard 50 million variations of them and they just come across as fake and thirsty. I simply say 'How're you?' or 'Hi, how's your week going?'. It's like the bell bottoms are back in style...back in the day 'How're you' was lame, then came all the pickup lines, now the simple 'hello' type messages get across better. They set me apart from every other AFC trying to put in too much work for their attention. But what the hell do I know...I'm an amateur hahaha

Did you know that opener I suggested had a success rate to prompt responses from 18% uninterested women. How could you know that was an actual statistic, right? Yet felt a need to intrude with negating my open and suggesting pro pics, the same advice that I first brought to this forum in 2013?

What would be the point of getting responses from uninterested (and interested) women you may ask? Incentive perhaps from the string of rejections he has grown used to, incentive to work on his “game,” incentive to acclimate to subsequent rejection which he has been so conveniently avoiding, incentive to get his hands wet in the game, incentive to actually get those pro pics which I and others advised him to get two years ago.

Any action for him other than posting here is a success. By encouraging inaction in the social part of the game—his greatest weakness—you cripple him.

also how big of a difference is it being 9 to 10% BF vs being say 15% BF? I clearly have very masculine features in terms of jawline and chin. Will that make a huge difference for me?

They're not a flaw but they have an effect. Look at it this way, you yourself earlier made a rude/racist comment about black women, so...? yes, people form opinions about you based on your looks, color, religion, background, your first impression etc.

You have to know your cards and formulate a plan before you start the game.

Right! And with those pics he posted most likely the only interest he'd get would be from the 3/10s and more rejection/no response or ghosting (from bored chicks) after a couple of responses if that. Without the right pics that line will work against him.

@bigdave17 -as for the pro pics, it's not so much about the pro pics but about the 'scene' of the pics too, if you're outdoors, nice background, having fun - those are the pics that work. I only have one pro pic and the rest are of me doing what I enjoy doing...it conveys the scene for them to picture themselves in.
