At 37 it will be tough to explain still living at home. He doesn't even have the excuse that he's working on education and is only with his mom temporarily. As for debt, it's not ideal if he doesn't plan to get employed, but he should have the goal of starting a career and being self sufficient.

As for college debt, he could easily go to a trade school. Plumbers, cops, electricians, HVAC people, etc. all make crazy money. If I could do my life over again, I'd prob. do one of those fields.

You asked me if I made that video. I meant to say that I would not make a video like that because my core beliefs do not support making a video like that. If my validation comes from the love of God and knowing who I am in relation to God because of what Jesus did on the cross for me, then I'm not going to allow anything in life to get me down to the point I have to make a video about it. If your validation comes from something else, your job, women, or other stuff, look at what you said...you would commit suicide if that was all pulled from you. That means that is all YOU are living for. I'm living for something greater than that so all these things do not matter to me. Not everyone on here wants to base their life on that. The married couple lived in the man's, you heard me correctly, the husband's parent's home and the parents were in the same place. A second married couple lived with the wife's parents. They didn't see that husband as a free-loader and they all moved to another home, that I sold them, together.

When there is true love, or if there is a really hot guy that's gets women, all these arguments go out the window. If he met a woman that really loved him for him, they'd marry and live in his mother's/ or parent's home and she would support him if she had a job.

What locale is that? There are a lot of places where the cost of housing is so ridiculous that living with the parents is necessary to build up a downpayment for one's own home.
