There are a lot of women only or mostly women workout centers though, like Curves and yoga places. Could explain why there aren't as many women in the regular gyms, where guys might be hitting on them/bothering them.

.
They wouldn’t get hit on so much if they wouldn’t wear those fvcking yoga pants so tight on their vag that we can see if their lips are innie or outie, and count the pubes on the few women who still have them. Yoga pants are out of control. Show your puzzy and guys are gonna notice. Nature can’t be changed.

You get fat when fall in Love... Fact!

Especially when the girl ask you to finish her plate lol.

People who are fat are like all humanity, few to do anything about it / or their issues.

Interestingly, they are some "fat" mega in shape people (ex: NFL player type)... but it's part of their training.

Diet, Healthy food eating, healthy habits (like small portion but alot)... since I workout alot my food calorie intake tripled... I eat more to by slimmer and more muscular.

Date fit people... and fit in the head too

Also, I am now at 200lbs (gain 30pounds since I became healthy) but fit in pants and shirt than didn't fit me since I was 15 years old 160 or 25 180lbs of fat.

Men and Women struggle with weight: Age and Genetics arent on your side either.

People have office jobs for 80% of active population. That doesn't help.

Interestingly... most people who work on their feet all days don't want to workout.. Lol. (I guess cause they standing/working out all day).

Also what is being "fit" ? .... Some of the strongest people I know.. Don't even go to the gym and they can carry me 200lbs on their shoulders... Heck my GF is 100lbs and stronger than me lol. (No joke... siblings fighting is heck of a training).

To be healthy: Be Active and not lazy.

People get comfortable= get fat, hence my "in love" status... true you gain 10lbs in a relationship. I am glad I got 30 but of muscle lol.

I am all about dating fit people, some fit people aren"t small or lean or 6 pack... some can be big but you see they have solidity and breath healthy.

you don't have to eat healthy to be lean

my best friend eats horribly but is 9% bf. Why? yes he is active but he has a horrible appetite. He feels totally fine eating 2K calories a day. I'm only really happy when im eating 7,000 calories
Dave 7000 calories really? That’s the amount of calories they eat on My 600lb Life.

It's not even a question of laziness, we have created a culture of addictive eating and addictive overeating. We are so used to eating garbage and lots of garbage that it's almost an emotional addiction. I even struggle with it myself. I start eating and I don't want to stop until I'm completely fukking stuffed

IMO, if you want to get in shape, you just have to eat as little as possible and then completely forget about food when you're not eating. Remove the emotional addiction
If you eat fruits, vegetables, nuts, healthy meats, chicken, etc. and exercise moderately, there is no reason; barring a medical condition, why a person cannot be healthy and in relatively good shape. The lardos I see every day, men and women, is just disgusting. If it is due to a medical condition, that is one thing, but when I see them just always eating and walking, and eating, it's just disgusting. Plus, it's one of the main reasons why the world obesity issue is now at epidemic proportions.

I live in Bridgeport, CT, used to live in Hartford, CT. Both big cities. Fast food and bad food all around you. Do you know how hard it is to find fresh fruits, vegetables, and alike in walking distance to where I live? Miles. Yet, there's a McDonald's and bodaga selling processed foods on every corner.

It's how the parents have been taught, and the children emulate because they do not know any better. It's the domino effect.

Dave, I am not saying there are no legit reasons for people to suffer from chronic weight issues, but MOST WOMEN are not suffering from such things. Most are lazy. All the same for MOST men too.

You're wrong when you attribute these legitimate things to women in general.
I am convinced BigDave has some mental health issues in reviewing all of his posts. I am no Greek God, but he swings from one end to the other on his threads.

I've been trying to gain weight and man it's always been hard. I recently got serious about it and trying to pound down 2300cal a day (up from about 1500) and I'm feeling bloated, lethargic...but I did gain 1lbs in 1 week so it's working...the bad news is I'm mostly feeling it in my stomach (my pants that were lose are now tight in the waist) but I'm going to keep it up for a month to see what happens. I'm also working out everyday.
You should be aiming for muscle mass rather than "weight". You should be getting your calories from a healthy high protein diet. You do want to be getting a lot of calories but it's the balance of the diet and quality of the calories that will improve your health. Make sure you're getting enough vitamin c and iron, ideally at the same time, to ensure your body can use the protein. Get a wide range of amino acids, zinc, magnesium, etc etc. You should be careful about working out every day, unless you're doing isolation exercises. Rest in general and quality sleep are essential to muscle growth and recovery. There's definitely guys on here who are more versed in exercise regimes than me but these are the basics.

I sit down and eat and I'm not happy until I eat so much to where i feel like I'm about to fall asleep from food coma...especially if it's anything garbage (i've eaten a 5000 calorie monstrous pizza by myself before). I can eat and eat and eat and eat and eat and eat and eat

Basically the same thing as alcoholics who are not happy until they have like 30 drinks. They've destroyed their tolerance to where they need an ungodly amount of booze to feel a buzz. I need an ungodly amount of food to really feel satisfied

I just control myself and figure out how much I'm gonna eat before I sit down and I force myself to leave the dinner table. If I stay at the dinner table, I won't stop eating. I never stop eating because I'm not hungry. I stop eating because I force myself to leave. I never feel full.

All the same, being lean does not mean you are healthy.

Back in HS I was much like your friend who can eat all kinds of junk and stay lean, but on track day during gym I was about to heel over and die right along side the fat kids. I would get winded climbing stairs just the same as a fat kid. I just looked better then they did when I felt like I was going to die, that's all. That's not being healthy, Dave.

Here is my main issue with your thread:

There are A LOT of women out there who will use legitimate reasons others have, like yourself, and use it to explain away their own laziness. It is a "no fault" mentality that they adopt, and is so much more common and average place than legitimate medical/genetic/psychological facets of obesity.

For you to say "most women" suffer from these legitimate issues is facilitating and encouraging their no fault mentality.

I think you misunderstood the point of the thread

I'm not justifying or saying it's ok for women to not be in shape. I'm the worst compulsive eater on the planet. If I just allowed myself to eat without any self control and didn't exercise, I would be 700 lbs in a couple years

I am just saying I understand. We have a terrible culture of over eating and emotional eating. I don't even think it's the exercise as much, 80% of it comes down to terrible over-eating

I agree. But there are some who have higher metabolism. Others whose digestive tract is not as efficient so excess food needs to be consumed to absorb enough.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

I think fat people have just destroyed their natural sense of appetite and fullness to where they need an ungodly amount of food to feel satisfied

also they eat when they're bored, sad, angry, happy, etc... - we call that emotional eating

skinny people mostly eat when they have a real physiological need for food. Fat people tend to eat constantly just for the sake of eating

Yeah I didn’t think about the metabolism and absorbing calories. I would imagine those would be medical conditions if someone needed that many calories. That’s a lot of eating lol.

that's what I need to feel really 100% satisfied to where I don't want to eat anymore

obviously that's not the amount of nutrients my body needs. Again, it's not like an alcoholic who starts drinking and can't stop until he's had 20 beers

Alot of fat folks stress eat. They appetite lies to them. Your appetite is designed to keep your weight stable. So if your fat your appetite will maintain that.

I honestly can't figure out exactly what it is that controls appetite

for me, if I stopped working out and didn't control what I ate, I would gain 150 lbs in a year (or more)

my friend, if he stopped working out and didn't force feed himself, he would lose 50 lbs in a year. He just does not have much of an appetite - he eats 2000 calories and he's happy. He has to force feed himself to eat the amount of calories that, for me, feel like nothing

Your appetite can decrease if you don't feed it.
bull****

I've lost 6 lbs last 8 weeks...if I go to a high quality buffet tomorrow and let myself eat with no self control, I'll demolish at least 6000 calories in 1 sitting

I don't ever feel full or satisfied until I've eaten so much to where I feel physically ill
