That just seems completely insane to me. I RARELY see any decent opportunities where an approach would be somewhat natural and not massively awkward. You go to bars and vast majority of women are in huge groups and you can't tell who is single and who is not - and an approach can easily lead to a fight. You go to gyms and most women are wearing headphones and clearly don't want to be bothered. The only women who make themselves easy to be approached is the garbage - cougars, overweight women, etc... I got into a big argument once with a friend about male oppression in Saudia Arabia. She said it doesn't exist. The article I read ( which was in The Atlantic, actually, not the Guardian), really showed that men are just as oppressed as females in Saudia Arabia. I also worked with a few women from there who basically confirmed that single men are treated like potential rapists, can only go to malls at certain times and are segregated in all public aspects of life.
