Great points OP.

My only concern is, if the salesman is "too good", I start to get suspicious. Couple of examples:

1) Coworker: Very good salesman. Top 10 nationally in our company. Makes very good and logical points in selling and is generally a happy guy. I've taken pointers from him, but I wouldn't trust him in a deal. Coincidentally, I've heard he has gone behind people's backs to make deals. Very good upfront, sneaky on the side.

2) Date: Just made a thread about this. Had a date with a good looking girl, she was very flirty and hands on. Used to be a good saleswoman in a dept store and still does sales but by herself. She came on very strong, I follow up and nothing. So essentially she wanted power rather than making a connection.

Being a good salesman kind of depends on who your audience is.
Good product > Good salesman

Glass guy is no Bill Gates.

True.

"Free" online dating isn't working for me. I'm left hoping that fat girls don't flake on me.

I'm having lots of success on pay sites. Seeking Arrangement and Miss Travel.

What are my other options? Hang out at Hooters?
Of course free OLD didn't work for you: You look fine, but your pics are terrible.

Did you hire a photographer? No.
Did you update your wardrobe? No.

Laziness breeds failure.

I used to wonder what motivation you lacked to take initiative? You come to SoSuave and seem eager to bang hot unpaid women, yet take no action. I once believed you were trolling but I no longer believe that. I'd venture that you just don't believe that you can succeed with unpaid women so you don't bother trying to make capital improvements upon yourself. It's sad really, as I had always believed you could succeed greatly with women. Lost potential. Definitely a shame.

Guru I don't think @RichardTheFrog needs professionally designed pictures for POF or OKC.

Online dating pictures are kind of like the career resume.......you can hire expensive folks to "fix up" your resume all day long, but at the end of the day, if you don't have anything of VALUE ON THE RESUME, you are wasting your time.

Basically, if Richard The Frog isn't a physically attractive guy, no amount of hiring professional photographers is going to change anything. Richard needs to post a pic so we can see what he looks like.

I did update my wardrobe. Didn't get the professional pictures taken yet, but I just talked to the photographer a few hours ago, so that will be taken care of in a few weeks. Here's my latest pic @Tenacity taken in the changing room of Hugo Boss. I admit my hair and facial hair is a bit messy and my lack of smile is unappealing and borderline psycho looking.

You think a man's value should be in his physical attractiveness? When I say I deserve 10's (I don't even believe in 10's), that's not what I'm talking about at all.

Cool, I don't see anything wrong with your looks.

Explain your natural personality? Are you more of a laid back type of guy?

I once did a refi for one of my old college professors. We moved him ahead three years in his payment schedule, and lowered his total monthly payments by paying off credit cards so much that he bought a new Honda Accord with the difference. So he skipped three years of payments, had a new car in his garage, and still ended up with slightly more money each month. That's why mortgage brokers exist, but you still have to sell people on the idea before they will trust you.
How did you do this?
Pareto distribution.
What's this? Pareto?.?.

Laid back!?!? Where have you been? Lol. He's one of the most opinionated posters on the forum, which I think is his strong suit, once he learns how to harness it and exhibit it confidently.

Maybe.

Except that I would get in way too many fights. Nobody is gonna roll over for me. I'm 5'8" and 149 lbs.

That might work if the world consisted of nothing except for me and females, and no other guys.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Eh, I'm 6'5/325 and still get into the occasional scraps. I guess if I were 5'8/149 I could see how the occasional might become a little more routine, but honestly the hardest I've ever been hit was by a guy about your size and we get along pretty good today.

I'm good looking also

How did you do this?

Mostly by using a mortgage refinance to pay off existing, high-interest credit card debt. It does turn unsecured debt into secured mortgage debt, which would be a bad idea if you were ever to contemplate a future bankruptcy filing, but for people with a good job who pay their bills, they get a much lower interest rate this way, and a lower monthly payment.

Yet one car salesman on the same lot in the same market will make six figures, while another will make considerably less.

And if you check any real estate agency, you'll find the same Pareto distribution.

Good salesman sell good products in good markets and make tons of money.

Bad salesman try and sell good products in good markets and struggle.

(I wonder if that same Pareto distribution exists in house flippers....)

I do that alot too.

Great way to build assets, free liquidity.

Than i show them à strategy to pay their mortage in 15 years at a lower cost.

So they get assets + finish their mortage after saving thousands of $ over time.

Its not for everyone. Too much people obsessed with the "rate" and buying at 95% of the mortage capacity limit
