ESPN is now MSNBC with a sport theme. The sports are irrelevant at this point. ESPN is a radical leftist outlet that uses footballs to promote feminism and anti-white racism. But nothing is going to happen to the league. Not nearly enough white people are waking up to this ****.

I leave ESPN on in the background quite a bit while I do other things - a habit I picked up from my parents. They always left the TV on, whether they were watching it or not. Gives you a feeling of being plugged into the world, I guess. If they drop the big one, I'll know about it.

Anyway, it seems like race is the topic of their discussion shows about 20% of the time. I don't see the discussing other political topics, unless a football player batters his wife, then they talk about domestic violence. But race, they talk about race all the time. Maybe because so many athletes are African-American.

It frustrates me, that after growing up in the 60s, fifty years later race is a bigger topic than ever. I had hoped to live to see this issue put behind us. But it's clear that people will be arguing over this long after I'm dead.

It's amazing how his protest makes some more angry than what it is he is protesting (public executions of black and brown people at the hands of police).

That's pretty much what I've stated, in different words, my son.

Police aren't scared of black males. It's just that even they encounter black males in high crime black areas, they're going to be more cautious in terms of being ready to protect themselves.
You're talking out of both sides of your ass. Reread this again.

Black males should acknowledge crime and demographic statistics and use that readily available information to their advantage when they have an encounter with law enforcement.
It doesn't make a difference. We still end up dead if the cop just doesn't like black people.

I honestly think all police officers should have to wear body cams at all times. not every death that is protested is an innocent victim.
This doesn't matter either. Even with video confirmation, the police are always right. "We don't know what happened beforehand."

I'm glad you acknowledge that race doesn't cause crime and poverty, I mistakenly thought you were a person who thinks white people or white culture is responsible for the State that the majority of black people are in, in terms of poverty, crime etc.
Whites weren't responsible for slavery, Jim Crow, or the war on drugs? Who was then?

Wait....I thought black people wanted to be judged on their character, not their stereotype. Now, you want to judge white people on the basis of their skin color? Hypocrite much?

I have a sneaky suspicion that you WANT to be judged by the color of your skin after all. It's good to be a victim eh? You get free stuff, people are nice to you, etc.

You'll soon find out that it isn't what it's cracked up to be. Just keep sticking with your 'brothas' and hang tight with that narrative. What's the analogy about crabs in the bucket again?

Answer the question. Who was responsible for slavery?

Why is that amazing? And how do you know that they're "more angry" about x than y?
Those that are livid about his protest don't seem to have too much to say when black men are executed by police on video. Well, other than "that <thug / criminal / hoodlum> deserved it!"

Most of them aren't executions. Oh sure, Walter Scott was. But Michael Brown wasn't. Alton Sterling wasn't. Trayvon Martin wasn't. Slyville Smith wasn't. These were lawful cases of either self defense or armed felons resisting arrest.

And who are you kidding. Brown people? Liar. You don't care about Latinos killed by police. That's not part of the big lie.

Answer the question. Who was responsible for slavery?
Which slavery? The trans-Atlantic slave trade? The Barbary Slave Trade of Europeans across North Africa? Modern day slavery in the middle east or North Korea?

I assume you mean the trans-Atlantic slave trade, since that is the beginning and end of history in your black supremacist world. Well, certainly the American colonists bore some responsibility. So did the Zulus of Africa who tossed their own people to the lion's den.

Well, other than "that <thug / criminal / hoodlum> deserved it!"
Correct. When you study the facts of the case, there was no wrong doing in the execution justified shooting of Mike Brown. And this thug criminal hoodlum in Milwaukee? The one fleeing a traffic stop and trying to shoot a coon black cop? Good riddance.

Racism: the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.

Whites weren't responsible for slavery, Jim Crow, or the war on drugs? Who was then?
That's a pretty blanket statement. Do you mean all whites? If so, that makes you by definition a racist.

I did say I didn't mind the kneeling. But this shows the problem with this sort of protest. The inflammatory nature of it ensures that the focus is going to be on the protest and not the issue. Compare this to the more tasteful protests done by the WNBA women or LeBron James et al at the ESPYs.

I don't know anyone who is in favor of police brutality, and there are certainly bad cops. But I don't see how anyone can discuss this issue without talking about how many black people embrace the thug culture. That's just asking for profiling right there, fair or not. I know several white men who resisted arrest and it did not go well for them. They weren't shot, but they were injured, in one case permanently. I also think Michael Brown is a poor example of a "public execution". If Michael Brown was a white man, we would have never heard his name or of the incident. If you're going to pick your martyrs, pick them more wisely.

Don't bother. He doesn't care about facts. He's part of the ignoramus brigade of people who still think Brown had his hands up. Like Al Sharpton, DL Hughley, Marc Lamont Hill, Michael Eric Dyson, Cornell West, Tavis Smiley and other "black intellectuals", the story begins and ends with skin color. @EyeBRollin has a victim complex and he's a racist.

It's the same kind of anti-white bigotry that allows SJW's to sympathize with Muslims but hate on Jews all day long. The "Zionists", a tight-knit invisible army of whites are trying to take over the world through covert white collar crime, but when it comes to actual video footage brown-skinned Muslims chopping people's heads off or hanging them from cranes, we get a sort of cultural relativism that allows these racists to circle back to blaming white "colonialism". I think @EyeBRollin has even used the fake word "Islamophobia" with me before before I smashed it to a million pieces.

Now there are copycats popping up all over, high school athletes, etc. The US Hockey Coach has said he will bench any player who sits for the national anthem. Any coach, at any level, who does not do the same is a failure as a coach. Putting your own political activism before your team is saying that you as an individual are more important than the team. If you can't understand that, then you don't deserve to be on any team.

Tim Thomas (goalie for the Boston Bruins) did this in 2011 when Boston won the cup. He refused to take the team photo with the President. Now I'm no fan of Obama, but what made the guy think any fans cared what some second rate goalies' political views were?

These sports are SUPPOSED TO bring people together, and they usually do until these narcissists inject themselves into the spotlight. You nailed it on this guy. Here's a third stranger who was about to get cut that just became the envy of Buzzfeed, MTV, and the entire black victim media complex. End result? A better contract.

Good for Thomas. It irks me when politicians use championship teams to curry acceptance and popularity. Athletes have actually earned their paychecks and accomplished something, and wh0re politicians just can't resist being around that winning aura. I'll take a second-rate goalie over a first-rate politician any day.
Normally wouldn't mind it so much, but Tim Thomas was known as a bit of an attention ***** and locker room drama queen.

Protesting is supposed to be inflammatory. That is the whole point.

"Thug culture" doesn't excuse civil rights violations.

All of them are public executions. Are white men left like this to bleed out in front of everyone?

Why is it so hard for you to admit that white Americans were slave drivers? This is pathetic.

Another lie.

"Thug culture" doesn't excuse civil rights violations.
Yes, it does. Thug culture glorifies many behaviors that are felonies. Felons lose their civil rights. A felon can't vote or own a gun. Michael Brown became a felon when he assaulted and tried to kill a police officer.

Your believe in the civil right to rob a store, assault a clerk, assault a police officer, and try to kill him. And if I stop you, I violated your civil rights. You're a deranged lunatic.

All of them are public executions.
No, they just simply aren't. Most are justified, lawful shootings.

Are white men left like this to bleed out in front of everyone?
2.5x as many whites were killed by police last year than blacks, even though blacks committed 20% more murders. Police are fare more likely to shoot a white criminal, and hesitate to shoot a black criminal because of race pimps like you.

This is a story you've never read about - when two blacks murdered a 6 year old white boy with autism.

http://downtrend.com/71superb/black-cop-shoots-and-kills-6-year-old-white-boy-with-autism

Why is it so hard for you to admit that white Americans were slave drivers? This is pathetic.
Why is it so hard for you to admit that slavery pre-dated whites in Africa and still goes on 153 years after whites abolished it?

Your racism is disgraceful.

I want to hear you spend as much time, if not more, condemning black on black slavery, brown on white slavery, modern day Asian on Asian slavery, Muslim slavery of non-Muslims, many of which were more prevalent, more brutal, and lasted longer than white slavery of anyone. Whites were the least of the offenders.

Until that time, your selective moral outrage is an indicator that you don't really care about the issue of slavery itself. You just use it as a tool to deploy your racism against white people.

Regarding the thug culture, there's a famous quote by Jesse Jackson, who said:
“There is nothing more painful to me at this stage in my life than to walk down the street and hear footsteps... then turn around and see somebody white and feel relieved.”

The NFL season started tonight, and the Broncos Brandon Marshall knelt during the anthem. I'm surprised he was the only one. I would expect more kneeling this Sunday. I think the kneeling gets the message across but is respectful. Sitting during the anthem is too offensive, IMO, and just creates divisiveness.
