Don Juan
I was speaking with a co-worker yesterday. He told me that this gal he was interested in stood him up last weekend. He told me that it was her that suggested going out and when he set a date time and date she immediately jumped on it. She called him on the day of the date to re-confirm but when he went to pick her up, her roommate told him she left about an hour previously with some guy on a date.
When he asked her what happened and why she stood him she replied that she had "a better offer."
Do some women get some sort of rush by doing this to guys? (I am not talking about standing someone up because of some type of unforeseen, unavoidable emergency.) I too have been stood up more than once in the past, (not by the same woman) and have wondered if they get off by doing this to guys.
