It's an interesting story because of the AFC/wussy American mindset that life is over at age 26 and you better be getting fat and cranking out kids. And by 59, you sure as h-ll better not be playing college football. THAT's why it's a story ... and even if it's D3, if you've stood on the sidelines of a game, I highly doubt you'd want to be taking shots from the other team.
I worked in the sports industry for a long time, I take it seriously, too, probably more so than most, and I know a ton of guys in college coaching, mostly at the high D-I basketball and football level. Not bragging, but I know what I'm talking about here. What he's doing is tough, even if it is page 13 material.
I posted it here because it shows what one can do if they challenge themselves, ignore American/pussified society, and do what they want to do. It's more about doing what you want to do than anything statistical. I'm sure the guy doesn't care who he inspires either, he did it to solve something that was troubling in HIS life.
