That's still good for a 42 year old.

I think many 45-50 year old men would be able to relate to this.
I'm 47 and prefer early to mid 30s. Of course, women in their 20s look the best, but I would have nothing in common with them.

It's in a man's DNA to be attracted to women 18-22.

Anything over 30 is undatable. Too corrupted by the Capitalistic system.

How much does commonality actually matter? In a shorter term arrangement (few months to less than a year), I think it would matter less.

At 47, you're not even going to have that much in common with a 32-36 year old. It's slightly more than you would have in common with a 22-26 year old, but the odds on either range are not great for you. You would need money and/or a very impressive physique to get that age difference in either case.

I was at the gym yesterday lifting weights and I saw 2 impressive women in the gym with their boyfriends. I would estimate that these women were 24-27. At 41, it was obvious that they looked better than even the attractive late 30s/early 40s (slightly younger than me) childless women that I have successfully seduced. A younger woman has more vitality in her skin. While it is impressive for a woman to be in her late 30s/early 40s and still attractive, it's still not the same as an early to mid 20s woman.

I recently went on dates( and hooked up after--it's not a flex trust me)with a 34-year-old and a 46-year-old. Some of the most entitled judgemental insufferable women I've ever gone on a date with. They wanted a guy to take them on vacations, buy them bags, and take care of them. However, the 46-year-old was living with her parents cause she just moved back in state and was whining about having to clean. Can't make this up. The 34-year-old just had a nasty uncouth attitude.

The lack of self-awareness, holier than thou attitude, and cognitive dissonance was truly frightening the entitlement as well. I don't blame guys at all for dating younger women, as this is something that IME is actually a far more fun dating experince when it comes to dating younger women than older ones who some tend to be desperate and looking for a sucker to snare and take care of them.

As i mentioned earlier older women for casual-ships ONLY in my book, younger feminine women for LTRs

However when it comes to the reliability factor what would a 35-year-old guy and a 19-year-old college student talk about outside of sex?
Man, it baffles me when I read this kind of feminist BS from an experienced forum member. If you don't have anything to talk about with a 19yrs old, then what do you talk about with her 35yrs old version? Beside her toxic exes, probably her kid(s) schedule and how she found herself through some new age retreats and yoga. I guess below is the answer:

Hey I get your point, I just find it's easier to relate to women in my age group however women that are younger are far more fun, nothing beats watching anime with a cute 20 something year old while she's topping you off lmfao

However there cavats, you got some older women who are boring AF

Let me conclude this I prefer younger women in all aspects

So, why would a 35 to 40 year old man have an advantage over me at 47 when it comes to attracting a 32 to 35 year old woman?

Women don't value youth and beauty in men like we do and I have more resources and confidence than my 37 year old self.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Update went on a date with a 21-year-old last night, talk about a difference long story short, she drove 3 hours to see from the boonies. The girl was very pleasant, she wasn't nasty or entitled(any of the crap I was dealing with in the last few dates). She is a very chill chick we met at wendys and took a walk, and after went home had fun and watched anime she was cracking up, she was very easy to talk too but it was just like a fun vibe and not desperate vibe you get form women in their late 30s or 40s

The biggest difference is the energy the 21-year-old is just so much better than a woman in her 30s or 40s. The girl says I was the 3rd guy she's ever been with. I belive it, the coochie was very tight, I could feel all the walls! I think I'm falling for her

There's far more likely to be personality commonality there. There's some value in having more in common in the personality aspect of seduction.

You might have more resources than when you were 37 and you might have more resources than many 35-40 year olds. Generally, it won't matter. While money can help in achieving an age gap relationship, most men simply don't have enough money to make a difference.

Men's money in general matters less to women now. More and more women have been getting bachelor's degrees and have careers. Millennial women are ages 28-43 in 2024. Millennial women were raised after Second Wave Feminism of the 1960s-1980s. Even the earliest Millennial women born in the 1980s and whose formative years occurred in the 1990s grew up expecting to work, be independent, and make their own money. Men's money doesn't matter much when women have spent the entirety of their formative years preparing to have careers and spending ages 25-35 trying to make good on the promises of the bachelor's degrees. Some women are even getting advanced degrees, which compounds everything I mention here.

Millennial women have also received preferential hiring treatment in both the private sector and for government jobs. In the private sector, companies make a big effort not to lay off women when layoffs are necessary. Millennial women aren't hurting for money due to their degrees and preferred hiring/layoff status.

There's an important social consideration as well.

In the short term, there is a social stigma in big age gap relationships. Both sexes can feel it but the stigma is more pronounced for women.

In the long term, a big age gap relationship means that a woman is guaranteeing to spend a larger part of her senior citizen years alone and uncoupled. This is not a fun experience for women. It also means she is likely to be a caregiver earlier in life. This is not an exciting idea when women think about the longer term. Most romantic interactions will fail long before this becomes relevant but this can be a consideration for women.

She is a very chill chick we met at wendys and took a walk, and after went home had fun and watched anime she was cracking up, she was very easy to talk too but it was just like a fun vibe and not desperate vibe you get form women in their late 30s or 40s
That's great that you were able to go on a date at Wendy's. That's something that's not going to happen with a 30+ woman.

Less expensive dates are more possible with women up to 22-24. Women then start to desire more expensive dates somewhere in their early to mid 20s.

The typical big city dwelling female with a bachelor's degree who is 25-34 is less likely to consider an inexpensive date acceptable. When going on early stage dates with women in this age range/life stage, there are some inexpensive dates that might be acceptable. I've been able to get away with some scenic weekend afternoon type walk dates at the right time of the year.

The biggest difference is the energy the 21-year-old is just so much better than a woman in her 30s or 40s. The girl says I was the 3rd guy she's ever been with. I belive it, the coochie was very tight, I could feel all the walls! I think I'm falling for her
There's something magical about 18-27 year olds as compared to late 30s/early 40s women. The younger women look, feel, and smell better, even compared to childless late 30s/early 40s who have stayed in good shape.
