I think men stop becoming attracted to women their own age once they hit late 20s and early 30s.

Why settle for a 30 year old while your 30 when you can easily get a 22 year old.

I'm 47, and I don't want to date women older than 42.

Of course women in their early 20s look the best but that's not realistic and they are immature anyhow.

I would say the realistic jackpot for men 35 to 40 is mid 20s.

The only true jackpot IMO is getting together with a young, feminine, attractive woman who has no relationship baggage.

There's some truth to this but it's not entirely true. There are plenty of 30-35 year old men with girlfriends/wives within 2-3 years of their own age.

As I've gotten older the more I appreciate younger women. I don't think I could date anyone my age or older like used to. Most women are at the end of the road by 50 for my standards. I don't see that changing even when I'm 70.

There's a youthful vibrance in girls aged 17-22 that just diminishes by the time they hit 22-23 years old.
That sparkle in their eyes, their running rampant sexual hormonal innocence and their passion for love and life just completely gets washed away with every alpha cxck that fvcks and chucks her.

22-23 is where I'd draw a general line for ltr/wife shopping.

What keeps me away from older women in their late 20s-early 30s isn't necessarily their deteriorated physique, but the negative crass personality traits they take on.
As they get older, the harsh nature of the world causes irreversible damage to a woman's spirit
and for most they pay for it with their femininity.

A few years back it sunk how much a woman's attitude plays into her attractiveness.
I swear that a positive and grateful 30 y/o chick seems much younger than an identical 30 y/o chick who is jaded and bitter.

I think behavior is as important as raw physical appearance (within obvious limits on gross weight, tattoos, piercings etc).
