Interesting. Well I somewhat disagree. Their natural instinct for selection is a lot more sophisticated than that IMO. A guy cosplaying as an "archetype" (per your X link) will get sniffed out in a heartbeat if he lacks congruence. But I agree that a certain look will get a foot in the door because people do respond to types. The rest is up to him.

However she will not throw herself at a guy if she's feeling him out and senses that he's difficult to attain or seduce (unless the gap is enormous). The less attractive she is by comparison, the more likely she'll go for broke. Attractive women have all kinds of social and psychological brakes in place. And women in general have self limiting beliefs about what they deserve. The good news is that men can draw value from within and don't need it assigned to them.

Just my experience. I've never read an evo psych book. IME the less attractive the woman, the more aggressive she is. The truly beautiful women I've been with have often come across as insecure and awkward, sometimes even aloof. Doesn't mean there aren't subcomms on their part. But they don't always send out the quote-unquote IOIs everyone says you should look for.

I dont look for IOIs. Too unreliable in my experience. Luckily if they like you (and yes the very attractive ones that everyone wants. I understand that not everyone has the same expeirence tho), they will approach you.

It depends very much on 2 main factors :

1) your fundamentals ( if you do not have good fundamentals, better to wait for the iois )

2) smelling if they would be opened to be approached or not

There's also subjective things: being able to score coke is definitely not an objectively high value trait but to the kind of girl who does drugs (which definitely includes models and hot girls at the club) it's the holy grail

Later on it made sense to me - he probably dates based on what men should be dating based on, which is personality/compatibility. The hotter women probably don't have that on offer, thus he dates down.

We avoid low value woman and also look for personality no matter whether it is for long term or short term relationships. I personally dont pursue any woman anymore since im already in a good relationship, im satisfied with. Low value woman, are the sort of woman every type of guy can bang. For these type of girls, Chads need to pursue them if he wants them, they wont make a move on you and play the games until you make them feel special, if you reject them they will team up with their female friends and try to break you.

Below average woman, fat woman are more confident in pursuing men, no matter how attractive you are. Chads, the complete package usually go for these type of woman because they are making it easy for them, they basically receive them with open arms. I know that, I also know that from many other Guys who are the complete Package with High status.
Majority of the woman will play games and will even test you harder if you are Chad, that’s why they go for the girls who makes it easy for them and these are either unattractive woman or incredibly beautiful woman. University isn't real life , its just a bunch of overgrown teenagers on a 3-4 year vacation where they have to go a couple of assignments and go to a few lectures
