My poor, poor Aaron (my best friend who passed away) must be rolling over in his grave right now. He used to have a huge poster of her that used to "talk" to him, lol. He would be devastated, although he had grown more and more disappointed in her over the last several years.

On further thought about WHY she would shave her head...I can't help but wonder if she shaved her head because she is tired of being viewed as a piece of meat instead of a person. Most women actually go through that at some point if they are considered attractive. I went through it when I was fairly young because I have have natural 34 DD boobs ever since I was in the 7th grade or so. I didn't shave my head bald, but when I got sick of boys talking to my boobs all the time instead of me, I cut my hair very short. When I got older I grew it out and until recently it was very long. I cut it a couple of months ago to just below my shoulders because I was getting headaches from the weight of it.

Not all women with short hair are feminists or lesbians. For some it's just more practical. My sister is very happily married and very feminine...but she runs a daycare center from her home. She keeps her hair short because when she had it long it got pulled, puked in and was just an all around pain in the butt.

I agree...women shouldn't be bald unless they have cancer and are on chemo, or if they are acting in a movie and have to shave their head for the role. Then it's all good.
