I understand that clothes do not make the man, but I believe that dressing well is a key component to picking up women. I spend alot of time in the gym, and it is the only place that I have had little ro no success at scoring girls. reasons: 1. I don't hit on girls there (just one in the past 4 years) and 2. Girls don't approach me in the gym. I get most of my women when they approach me.

What do you guys wear in the gym? I usually wear a white beater or white t-shirt and nike shorts with short socks and k-swiss shoes. I like the white shirt, colored shorts, and white shoes look - it works well. I'm comparing this to the dude in the corner with the blue shorts and red shirt with brown shoes.

I purchase new beaters and t-shirts every couple of months, so they look white and not yellow. I like to replace shorts often as well. My white k-swiss are only replaced like 1x year max.

I would suggest pink speedos, if you've got'em....And you've got to go three sizes smaller than normal....

This way you over accentuate your ballz... Nothing drives the women wild like seeing a man show off his package..

Oh, and make sure you balls are on opposite ends.. That way,.. you skip the three second approach, kino and close portion, that's detailed in the DJ Bible.

After all, the woman,..... or in your case the victim, knows exactly what she's gonna be working with..

Oh!...and you may want to grab your package once in a while and sneeze simultaneously......;)

Just my humble 2 cents..

Nice1 edge, some great advice there.

Just wear realistic training gear. Are you running? Then Nikes are probably useless - get real running shoes, not fashion trainers. Also, wear running shorts and singlet. If you're lifting, wear what the real lifters wear, not what's fashionable.

I thought DJ's were always supposed to be "on", not just certain places. So, DankNuggs, with your logic, perhaps I should not dress up when I go to the library to study as that is where I should study, and not try to attract girls? Where are the only acceptable places to dress well in your opinion?

Oh, and let me add that I have spoken to women in the gym and they make fun of some of the guys who don't know how to dress in the gym: eg. wearing the same shorts or shirt every day, wearing mismatching clothes.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

I wear a T-shirt and sweatpants, man. I never cared about what I wear to the gym...because it's the gym. It's not a social club, it's a...gym.

Women make fun of a lot of things, who cares. Half of them put on makeup just so they can sweat it all off at the gym. I don't know about you, but I'd make fun of the guy trying to make himself look cute at the gym.

I'm not talking about showering, blowdrying my hair, plucking my eyebrows and ironing my clothes before I lift - I'm looking for some input as to what other DJ's wear in the gym. You wear a t-shirt and sweatpants. Cool! That's the kind of answer I'm looking for.

You want to peacock at the gym? You might as well try to not perspire so you won't dirty your clothes.

I just joined the forum...but here is my advice...since I have been working out off and on for some years...don't worry so much about looking good...after all its a gym...just worry about smelling good...make sure to put on some deoderant and even some body spray if you want...NOT COLOGNE...I think you are getting some negative responses because most gym rats don't like the guys that are prancing around in new/nice/expensive workout clothes and weight lifting gloves and other stuff....yet they never even break a sweat...they just take up space...

I just realized I didn't answer your original question...I just wear some old sneakers...basketball shorts....sleeveless t-shirt...and lifting straps....that is all that is needed....

DJLiquid - Cool, thanks for the input. I usually just put on some deodorant.

I've been lifting for about 14 years on and off now. I've done a bodybuilding competition, and know the game quite well. My current stats: 5'8", 190, 10%bf. Oh, and I don't wear gloves ;)

There are syles of clothes that bodybuilders/weightlifters wear. Otomix and Max Muscle are two that I can think of. I like some of the Otomix gear (no, not the big clown pants). I was hoping that somone who was more enlightened on these types of clothes could help out.

Sweatpants and a tee should be enough. You should have a pair of shoes designed for running, not the shoes you wear to cut grass in. I play basketball a lot in my neighborhood. Girls would come out and watch. I had on this glimmering short and jersey set, but the girls were not impressed. Why? I couldn't play. Now I wear shorts and a tee. The shoes should be on point though. It's means your serious about the sport, or working out in your case.

And I'm playing better now.

If you have been lifting for 14 years should'nt you already know what people are wearing when they go to lift? I mean..come on...just look around when you are lifting and you will get a pretty good idea what you would be comfrontable lifting in.

I usually wear tank tops with windpants or shorts....nothing to fancy. As for shoes i have those nike shox's.....best running shoe i have ever owned.

OK Chewy, what do you want to hear, I wear t-shirts, cutoffs, tank tops, shorts, and warmup pants in some combination, I also wear sneakers. I don't worry about matching, and I don't give a crap about what girls think i look like because im not there to attract them, I'm all about business in the gym. You seem like your in college, so you probably see lots of chicks you hang out with on the weekends. Its also more of a meat market atmosphere. When I was in school, there were always the chicks half heartedly using free weights so they could check out guys in the area... Do what you like...I laugh at guys wearing matching jumpsuits, or who look like they spent longer getting ready to go to the gym then they spend in the gym, doesn't matter if your a body builder or skinny runt...

Legend - I don't look at other guys clothes in my gym often. Besides, most (if not all) the guys at my gym are not the people who I want to emulate.

Thank you for the input.

Nonsensical questions yield nonsensical answers.

You are worrying yourself about what to wear when you sweat. That is absurd...

What do you guys wear in the gym? - is not a nonsensical question.

You flamed me for no reason, and now you're trying to justify yourself.

Girls don't seem to think that it's odd for men to look nice in the gym - why do you?

My point exactly...... Number one stop trying to pick up women in gyms.... If it happens then fine other than that, the gym should be a safe haven for you to work solely on your exterior....
Fukk trying to strut your feathers and just fukkyn work-out...

Why do you care if I try to pick up girls in a gym?

Why are you trying to enforce your opinion on me of what one should do in a gym: "work solely on your exterior"

Girls go to gyms and sometimes try to meet men. Do you have a problem with girls meeting guys at gyms too?

I work out often, I look good. I do not need to spend hours working on my body. I easily maintain with a few reps. I have extra time to hit the treadmill and chat with a girl.

I cannot believe the immaturity I am encountering with my simple question about workout wear.
