It's really hard to believe Syrio is male.

Not because of "his" standpoint, but a lack of basic reasoning skills and how "he" can't carry arguments to a(ny) logical conclusion.

And also starts out by bashing all the commenters before "him", telling them to "man up".

And additionally resorts to personal attacks whenever someone disagrees, instead of giving a reasonable counter-argument.

And how is questioning someones gender any better than a more direct personal attack? This last post certainly comes off as an insult attempt and not an attempt to present a valid counter-argument to the person you disagree with. Its rather typical of certain posters here to pull the "you must be a woman" tactic when someone disagrees with them...which makes you both flamer trolls if you cannot have a debate without the insults (thinly veiled or not).

You may not like someones opinion, but you should be a mature adult and realize that not every man and woman agree with everything others in their gender say or believe. People are individuals, so how about we not pigeon-hold people to certain ideas just because of their anatomy.

Its not surprising how there are always a slew of posters on this forum who cannot handle that some men think differently than them. Rather than throw insults and argue endless in circles....just accept that people are different and move on.

This topic is certainly not worth the effort a few people here are putting into it.

Then we turn to the public sector, which has essentially become one giant welfare program for women, full of clerks, social workers, functionary women doing the work of 1/3 of a man for the same pay. Good luck being male and getting those cushy AC gov jobs. Sure you can get the nasty, hard govt jobs inspecting restarants or doing groundswork, but all the cake is reserved for the women. I see this literally every day in every govt office I work in.

My company has a significant amount of government contracts (female owned because her husband passed away, which gives us an edge due to "minority" bidding") and I've seen it first hand.

There is an ungodly amount of women working in the government with these extremely cushy jobs. I've been all over, The Navy Federal Credit Union, CIA, FBI, Pentagon, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (pretty much all the military bases I've been on), etc.

I've had to deal with women who were given authority over the systems I maintain, who don't know anything about them, technically speaking, and yet are given carte blanche to make decisions that are completely frivolous and nonsensical in implementation. You see, there's always a "man" involved somewhere who deals with things if they get too crazy, yet they're paid as if they're knowledgeable and competent.

It's ridiculous.

So true. The government, federal, state and local, is not even ran by men as it's claimed. There are so many women and "minorities" filling most of the positions at any and every government agency (also in corporations in the private sector especially the many government contractors). By a lot of federal agencies own admission they over hire women and "minorities" sometimes at a level of 3x the affirmative action rate. Affirmative action is certainly bad enough but it is taken to the level of wholesale slaughter of men's opportunities.

But according to feminist logic, because 80 or 90% or x% of a whopping 540 or whatever members of congress is (white) male, that means EVERY (white) male is privileged. Never mind the fact that there's no evidence that the few white males with any power do anything for other males. But that's how females think. They take the top 20% or so of males and claim ALL males have it that good. What's Danger say, apex fallacy? Funny thing how women never point to a female CEO, senator or Supreme Court judge and say, "See how good females have it?".

The only sexism or discrimination is against the 80-90% or so of the male populace in the economic market and the sexual market both. There's no way a straight male who is into picking up females and has walked in those shoes would say the things a few posters on here do. I don't even have to name names.

Liberalism is against the straight renowned men like all of us. Affirmative action benefits mainly women. It's not even a racial matter anymore. The democrats have killed African American culture with liberalism.

It's almost all geared towards women these days. Even the push for gay rights isn't because politicians really care about gay people. They just know that (straight white) women are staunch supporters of gays and a much larger slice of the voter pie than gays themselves.

You are also correct about affirmative action. I won't get into the merits of AA. (That's another topic.) But, when you suddenly make females (~50 percent of the population) a MINORITY for AA purposes, then it certainly would take away from the racial minorities that AA was originally intended for.
