The positive thinking coupled with feedback would cause you to put yourself into a different market where your goal would be attainable.
No but you are making my point for me. My entire point is that by doing proper research, critical thinking and reality-based thinking (not positive thinking) you would figure out what market you should be in UPFRONT rather than running into things blindly with a "chasing your dreams" aspect. Plus understand, nobody has infinite capital and resources, if you exhaust your capital and resources in bad markets you could run out for re-investment in other markets.

As far as the far fetched basketball goal
Stop right there, you call the goal far-fetched, but these are exactly the type of goals this New Thought Movement produces, which are mainly unrealistic, unattainable goals. If people were to follow my critical thinking/reality-based thinking approach, it would be completely different.

...........your positive thinking would structure you towards being in a competitive league up to semi pro level and it would realize it would take several years to grow to that level and would require paid coached sessions on fundamentals and advanced skills. It would cause you to spun this NBA fantacy towards something more realistic such as being a CEO, a small business owner or a part of a successful business as a manager.
Ohhhhhh lol, so NOW you start to talk about setting realistic goals based on MARKET CONDITIONS. Finally lol!

Negative thinking and dread would cause us to accept where we are in life as our possibility and that's a bunch of bs.
To me, positive thinking is just as bad as negative thinking, why? Well, it's because they both are incomplete. To have complete and efficient analysis, you have to put all of the positives and negatives on the table, then seek to mitigate the negatives while you work to acquire the positives. This is called critical thinking or reality based thinking, and this is the type of thinking process that I SUPPORT.

I'm not a positive thinker and I'm not a negative thinker, I'm a CRITICAL thinker.

This thread brought tears to my eyes because I realized my mother is the only woman that has ever loved me unconditionally.
Remind your mother you love her if you still have her fellas.
I had good women, then I spent 10 years in bad relationships with "hot" women. I've thanked my mom so many times for giving me a good example of what I should expect in a woman. My mom maintained employment, paid her half of the bills, didn't diminish my fathers masculinity, was a great partner, they had sex almost every night and affectionate and when she was in her twenties was a successful model, so she could've been much more narcissistic.

My mom gave a good blue print of what I should expect in a woman, and ontop of it all she is a feminist. She believes a woman should be able to carry her own weight and if she has a man, she should be an asset to that man.

It's funny you post this, because you are confirming everything I have stated since day one...in that the market WE are playing in has changed for the worse. We are playing in a fvcked up market.

You're 34 so it's fair to assume your mother is a Baby Boomer, this was a completely DIFFERENT type of woman than the type of woman we are dealing with today. Your mother grew up with values and standards that reflected that of traditional womanly roles for the most part, so even though your mother went out and contributed to paying bills, she didn't do so with a "you go girl" "men aint' shyt" type of attitude.

I've been saying the market is different and has changed for the worse, since day one....but for some reason you respond to my analysis saying I'm just "too negative" and need to be more positive. YET, you make this post about how you wish women of today were more like your mother, who comes from a completely different MARKET.

Can you guys at least be consistent? None of you guys, not you, T.O., Legend, BeTheChange....NONE of you guys who consistently come against my "the market is fvcked up" analysis are consistent with your stances. You are always all over the place.

The entire country isn't corrupted though, there are pockets that had examples to look at in their parents or got sick of the poor treatment between their parents. So there are pockets of people who will be "good" partners. A lot of those get corrupted or at least try the other way due to peer pressure, music and society thought, but it's really not them. You gotta have faith, but I'm all for a Brazil trip going down there finding an educated, attractive honey who likes to put out for her man and bringing her back here. That's might be what it's going to take.

These Brazilians take a lot of pride in treating their men good, and being good in the bedroom ontop of it...

My friend this isn't the point, do you understand the definition of an epidemic? Leading up to the 2007/2008 crisis, there were A LOT of mortgage brokers who were not participating in the corruption, but the SIGNIFICANT number that were, were enough to cause the entire system to crash.

You guys keep responding with this, "not all women are like that" stuff....that's irrelevant, you don't need every woman to be like that for there to be an epidemic in the market.

- Every stock doesn't need to be tanking for the stock market as a WHOLE to be tanking.

- Every piece of real estate in an area doesn't need to be losing value for the real estate market as a WHOLE in that area not to be worth the investment.

- Every student doesn't have to be saddled with student loan debt for there to be ENOUGH students who are for there to be a problem in the market.

- Every group of black guys with hoodies on walking up beside you on the street does not have to be thugs/criminals, but there are A LOT of them that are (who fit this profile) to where if you seen a group of black guys coming near you who fit this profile and you didn't try to get the fvck out of dodge...then you might be asking for an a.ss whooping.

- Every snake doesn't bite the hell out of you, but enough do to where I don't want to be around a snake at all.

Do you guys understand the definition of an "epidemic"? It doesn't mean every single aspect of an area is infected or has the issue, but the issue is within the area ENOUGH to where it's a problem.

You gotta have faith.....
- That's like saying every politician isn't a liar, just have faith.

- That's like saying every guy trying to hustle you some expensive merchandise on the corner isn't a booster, just have faith.

- That's like saying every central banking system in the world isn't corrupting the monetary system, just have faith.

NO, I'm not having faith in shyt. People need to start looking at things with their eyes wide open to see the SCAMS that lay right there in front of them. People want to read some "positivity" bullshyt because most people do not want to face the reality that 99% of this world is BULLSHYT, a scam, and you get "rich" usually through fvcking over somebody else.

There are people in foreign countries right now, who die, bleed, or work on pennies....so that we can enjoy the new gadget they are selling with 1,000% profit over here in the states.

Our US soldiers die, bleed and come home with one leg.....so fat cats can get rich off the military spending as well as the protection of the country in general. Some US soldiers come back home and can't even get employed at McDonalds, some end up sleeping on the streets.

But you want faith? Faith? Faith in what?? This world is FVCKED up.

Faith in yourself to make good critical decisions. We all need to take our lives lot more seriously and leave a lot less to chance.

1) You trifurcate thinking into (1) positive; (2) negative; and (3) critical. You then allege that you fall into category three, "critical" thinking. Yet, you create this thread titled, "I have anger issues. I don't know what to do," where you state:
Tenacity said:
I'm About To SNAP

Listen, I'm worried about myself, okay? I have been going off on women and verbally abusing them for at least 5 years straight now, off and on. IF I don't do something quick, I'm afraid the next step is I'm about to physically assault one of them and then I'll be in jail, having worked my a.ss off from nothing and have it all thrown away in an instant.
"Critical" and "anger" do not reconcile, but "negative" and "anger" certainly do. Ergo, among the three "types" of thinking, you would fall under "negative."

2) YES Tenacity, the world is not fair. Congrats in recognizing this rudimentary fact in your 30s. The imperfect world and the myriad injustices were brought to my attention at the age of 12. Now that you are informed, what are you going to do with this "arcane" information? Spread the word? I'm confident that 99% of people in this forum are aware of the political, social, financial, and gender injustices in the world. Please enlighten me in how this rudimentary focus helps you (when by virtue of this "auspicious" type of thinking, "you are about to snap") and others?

- Oh, okay, so based on the rationale you are using, every person who gets caught in a traffic jam on the way to work in the morning, who starts cursing up a storm as a result (expressing anger/frustration) is a "negative" person?

- Every person who loses their job because they get downsized, who runs home and rants about it to their family/friends (expressing anger/frustration), is a "negative" person?

- The people who got pissed off (expressing anger/frustration) at Bin Laden's crew for taking their family members away on 9-11, are "negative" people?

Is this all correct? You see there are times when people are negative (angry as you say), times when people are positive (happy as hell) and times when people are critical (conduct proper analysis). This conversation was based on how does a person approach major things in life, do you approach it with a critical thinking point of view (which is what I do), or do you approach it with touchy feely, over positive faith based stuff?

2) YES Tenacity, the world is not fair.
It took almost 2 months of us debating/discussing this topic for you to ADMIT that.

Okay, put it like this. If I'm driving by in your neighborhood and see your neighbor's house on fire, but see a couple cars in your driveway (none in your neighbor's driveway), would you FAULT me for running up to your door and telling you guys that the neighbor's house is on fire and I just called 9-11? The fire could spread to your house, thus, I'm informing you so that you can take action.

You make the statement that 99% of the people on this forum are aware of the political, social, financial and gender injustices of the world, and I COMPLETELY disagree with you, why? Because I've been one of the main (major) voices discussing this shyt.

Most men are not aware of how fvcked up the Family Court is, even those who have been screwed over by it, because they have been programmed to think that them getting screwed over is somehow THEIR fault.

Your entire stance reminds me of TicTac, who got screwed royally but he could only say, "Tenacity, okay, the system is fvcked up but what can we do about it?" Basically his stance was bend over and take it up the rear, sorry....I'm not bending over. There are a number of things WE AS A FORUM/NETWORK can do:

- Get the hell off the hidden usernames, link up and protest for change.

- Start a grassroots movement to bring these issues on national media coverage

- Spread our message around to other men

- Stop allowing women to get away with certain types of shyt

- STOP signing marriage agreements

I don't believe in this mantra of, "The world is fvcked up, there's nothing we can do, so let's just bend over and take it." Like I told you in MY THREAD that you posted, every single CHANGE in this world has come from people saying they were not going to TAKE IT.

Legend BTW, I really believe you are a woman.....be honest.....you are a woman aren't you? You and LYD are like one in the same. You (like LYD) also preach that touchy feely shyt.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

If said person were to whine two years on a forum about the lost job, he is quite a pathetic, helpless person. Negative would be a compliment.

Now you compare an act of terror and death to the market of women? Is your rhetoric that weak? LMAO

Now, you compare a fire that could take the lives of its inhabitants to the state of the market? Your arguments are getting stronger now; at least; it's not a comparison to terrorism ...

The rest of your "argument" is self-serving strawman, purporting arguments never made.

Tenacity, as stated before: Stop whining every dam day. If YOU have a problem with the state of affairs, DO something about it other than crying to the wilderness. Stop being a bvtch.

I understand what your saying. To put a stop to some of the progression of bad behaviors, by not enabling them. We take a stand to not enable them and have our peers to do the same. The otherwise we will continue devolving into a planet of the apes type scene.
