So so true. I have struggled with this for years. My problem is I am inherently a good basterd, and I worry too much about other people's "feelings" - especially womens. I truly believe that us blokes are most definitely of stronger "moral" stance in general terms in all areas of life - not just relationships. I think even the likes of Roissy are deep down good fellas - but you just can not afford to be "good" to all women - it just doesn't work. Women are not the victims. Remember that.

Children.

They become devilish hores in our minds when we expect them to act in ways that they can't.

How do we handle children? We discipline them, guide them, reward them, punish them, explain and demonstrate things to them, straighten out their thinking, and set rules and parameters of behaviors for them.

That is precisely how we need to handle women. They are children. They used to be just children back in the day, but the media has made them spoiled, bratty, deliquent children. Treat her as a child and you will maintain proper balance in the relationship.

What I am saying is this, for the most part, that is all most of you will ever get to do and still be able to look yourselves in the mirror. If you play the game to the end you'll lose. But I see the bitterness in posts like this and it seems to me it comes from a place of unrealistic desire. 'What happens to a dream deferred?' type business. (its a poem, look it up). Why would you even want to control her actions. I don't want someone I can control. That's not game. If it is you've got the game twisted.

In your analysis of Helen of Troy an Paris. I don't think that Helen was totally to blame for her actions. Had not Paris succumed to his lusts for another man's wife the battle of Troy probably wouldn't have happened. I've never read "The Taming of the Shrew" so I can't comment on that one.

My point is this: Most humans will cheat at some point in most cases if given the oppurtunity. However some wont. It's a choice. Yea, most women can be *****'s, sluts and *****es an so forth. But so can men. The only indivdual I am responsible for is me. If I get with someone and they aren't intelligent enough to see I'm a good enough to be with then that's there loss. On to the next one.

All I can say is, I've had a woman living with a guy come over several times [we dated before she found him] and another woman with a live in BF[6 hour flight] call and text me fairly regularly... wanting to know when I will be back in the area. Women of today are no doubt made from something totally different than the women of yesterday. I mean, I'm a child of the 70's so I rememeber family dinners and **** like that. Luckily my father was around. Most of the kids I grew up with had their fathers. Indivduals in the inner cities weren't so lucky. I remember when women used to dress up and look presentable, when they were curvy and femine. I remember when they wore dresses all the time or mini skirts, but they didn't look like *****s. The women of yesterday didn't disrespect their elders or their parents either. I remember when females cooked and took care of the house hold. Yeah, they may have did their little creeping every now and again but it wasn't with the whole damn neighborhood. You didn't have to worry about her being with every tom **** and harry to come along. The women that did that were rare. Every graduating class had their class slut. Now, that ****s common like the morning breeze. Remember when it was rare to find a single mom. Now you're lucky if you can find a woman that doesn't have 3 children , bagagge, and parties all the time. If men today are wussies, then women today are just as bad if not worse. Perhaps it's our fault that things have gotten this bad. I mean a generation or two of fatherless homes had to have some repercussions. Maybe the end result of broken homes with abscent father's is several generations of women who are slutty and whorish. I don't know, food for thought though.

There's power in being able to let go of the desire to possess a woman. A man is truly free when he can enjoy a woman in the moment and move on with no issues when the relationship no longer suits him. Props to Warrior, the OP and the rest of the posters who posted gold here.
