Why men should get married by the time they are 40

I just now decided to see what the age preferences of women in their mid-30's are on match.com. I did a search within a 50 mile radius of women 34-36 years old. I took the first one hundred women and looked at their age preferences, and I was surprised by what I found. Apparently 47% of these women would date a guy younger than thirty, just slightly less than the 59% who would still date you if you were a 41 year old. Even worse, if you are a 46 year old man only 14% of these women would consider dating you if you were this age.
If this is a reflection of American women in general, I am not looking forward to my mid forties and being single if I still am at that time. Or maybe it is just match, and they should rename that place the Cougar Den dating site or something.

Don't know if this reflects the general population, but that is probably why.

I totally concur with the concept that you ignore what they say they want. As long as you are very fit and have an active life and that you carry yourself like a MAN. You can be 50 and get any woman you want. My boys DAD is 52 and he builds bikes for rappers;yet he doesn't tell women that and he gets 20 year olds because he stays fit. GET FIT.

Did you stop to ask the question what was the age of the women responding to the poll? younger people use Match.com and naturally they will SAY they prefer people around their own age. I think your post is mis-titled. This does not sound like any reason men should get married by the time they are 40.

I think the media and movies have been hamming this cougar topic up a bit lately. Apparently the latest dribble from some airhead female friends is that 40 is the new 30 .The amount of women who dress up to 15 years too young for their age in search of fresh meat is getting laughable of late. Still I think it’s just another trashy mag fad. The resurgence of sex and the city movie vomit has probably done some inspiring. I think once the reality of the situation hits home with a lot of the girls playing the cougar. They will most likely run home with their tail between their legs when they discover they don't like being used, and tossed for younger girls

I am 6-2 230 hard and fit and at the moment I am seeing a 23 year old that's got the body of a fitness model and she can't get enough of my penis and I also am seeing a 30 year old who thinks I am the sexiest man alive and I am 49 years old.

Be manly and masculine....Be proud to have a penis... walk with a swagger... walk and be the sexual being you are meant to be... put away false conditioning and myths about aging and walk like every girl in a place wants to f*ck your brains out and great things start to happen even having a f*cked up eye like I got.

Vonbock, I understand your reasoning but pictures are not necessary simply because looks are subjective what's hot to you might not be hot to me or twenty other guys and vice versa...

The babes I am with have fit hard bodies with a dash of sweet and innocent personality that's hotter then a fire burning to me and putting them on a scale of numbers from 1 to 10 is useless and immature. What's mature and whats important is you find your hot and use your manhood to it's fullest and everything will be just find cause if I post pictures of these two and you say they are ugly I'd have to kick your ass for disrepectin' my judgment.

That is great that you guys are getting younger women. My guess is that you meet at least one of two conditions for them-either you are rich, and/or you look younger and are in better than most men your age, like Pierce Brosnan or something.
I should make a fake profile and find some photos of an attractive fit middle aged man, put in the profile I am 46, say I make $150,000+ a year in the income section, and write up a ****y/funny DJ profile and see if I can get these particular women to respond to my profile.

The women I checked were 34-36, 100 of them, and I looked at the slot where they put the age range of the men they are interested in.

If you want to date young women as a mature man, then keep yourself in good shape, sock away your money, and start spending time in other countries (take your pic - Eastern Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia.) Sock away enough cash so that you can retire in your late 40's, and then basically go live there.

A ex Naval aviator friend of mine was 52, dating a 16 y.o. in Ukraine (OK, she was a bit of a nutcase), and ended up marrying a 26 y.o. in Moldova. Another guy I know was 60, and knocked up a 34 y.o. in Mother Russia. I was 38, and dating a 19 y.o. in Ukraine (she was definitely a nutcase), and take the attitude that my target age is half of mine, which will keep me in the game until I reach 70.

Well, women are just describing their IDEAL mate on match.com Their princes in shining armor. I also described my ideal chick and she's a particular age, but I've gone on dates with older and younger girls. Cougars, BTW, tend to give younger guys a chance on match, despite their ideal ages being slightly older. Nothing is written in stone.

One more thing about match.com... I've been a member since FEB 08 and gone out with around 15 different women and I'm not lying when I say I've ended up banging almost all of them. I wish I'd done match a long time ago!

I imagine that women in other countries do this because they are desperately poor and will do anything to use you for your passport. That to me is not an indication that they are really attracted to you, it is no more than a form of prostitution. I am thinking they don't really want to be with these guys, they may in fact be disgusted with these men but will stick with them long enough to get into a western country then they are quickly history.

I knew a young lady from Belarus who pretty much did just that, she was 19 at the time and he was in his early 40's. She ended up cheating on her husband, hooking up with a man closer to her age in this country. She claimed the American she married, although well off, was fat and impotent and she was not attracted to him physically. That being said, I suppose sex with a woman who is not attracted to you and just using you is better than no sex at all at that age.

What's the difference between a foreign woman wanting to use you for her passport and a western woman wanting to use you for social acceptance and a meal ticket? Same difference. It's up to us guys to separate the players from the real women. I've spent a lot of time in latin america and I can honestly say that I will never marry a woman from the US. It would just be silly to do so.

I'll be 40 next year and I could care less about how the women here view me. Sure I get some now and then, but I'm saving my money and will retire in a couple years down south and live the good life with REAL women. Hell, as long as you don't cheat on them or beat them up, you are already ahead of the local guys.

Women on dating sites are SUPER picky. Much more so than they are in real life. Why? Because they can be. On most of these dating sites men outnumber women 2 to 1. Women, even the less attractive ones get a LOT of emails. And admittedly yes, a lot of these emails are from real losers. For every 40 yr old guy that looks like Brad Pitt, therer are fifty guys that look like Tom Arnold. So, what is the easiest thing for these women to filter their responses on? Age! Dont waste your time on dating sites if you are in your 30s and want to hook up with young hotties. Dating sites are VERY age bias. Much more so than society in general.

Why do you care about how women in the Western world view a man in his 40s when you can connect with a hot, sexy, feminine young woman who has not been corrupted by western society and feminisn? Dont kid yourself, they are not all gagging to get out anymore. The economy in Russia is very good these days. There is no shame in going and finding a eastern european woman. You are going to get a real woman who actually knows what it means to be a WOMAN.

I will give you an example that really opened my eyes about the quality of these women. I am chatting online with a stunning, 21 year old engineering student from russia these days. The other day I asked her, "do you know to cook?".. her reply? "Yes, of course I know how to cook, I am a girl!" She was actually shocked by the question.. It was like.. yeah.. that is what women do. I told her how women in N America want to be more like men. She was shocked. Russian women know their role, but at the same time, they also expect a man to be a MAN. Not the AFC type. Those guys get chewed up and spit out. As much as they are feminine, they want their men to masculine.
