Yes, this is the truth.

Or haven't you noticed?

I'm not pulling it out of my a$$, and I've reported him way before this bandwagon took off. I think that he is very intelligent, but he has his own personal agenda, and he makes a lot of SUBJECTIVE decisions.
Neck up parrot and get back in the kitchen, big boys are talking now.

Uh....I consider Rollo a friend as well. Met up with him on more than one occasion. He closed my thread earlier today. It had deteriorated due to some posters taking issue with something that wasn't there, so I knew it was coming and I don't blame him.
Actually he closed it after you pretty much told him to. It was a debate that you weren't winning.

Str8up, he closed your thread after how many pages? It was only When it was going a certain way that he closed it! There is a "Man" club in the The Mature Man forum - I'm aware of this!

Titty man, in the writing that you quoted, Rollo is talking about the feminist agenda - the hor matrix - which has been stated in many forms, many times! The agenda is to make the man weak and the woman less weak!!

Yea, it's quite obvious that you and the two or three other misguided people who couldn't even understand the topic were "winning". ROFLMAO!

Yea, it was closed as soon as it turned into a flame war due to the fact that certain posters WANT to put on the boxing gloves for their "cause" when someone mentions one of the "buzzwords" that get these insecure people all riled up.

what determines if she likes you????
-your face, your smile, your body, your walk, your smell, the words you use, your tone, the way you talk, the way you interact with people, your eyes, your expressions, your jokes, your humour.

BASICALLY-------everything that is YOU!

i guess thats what rollo means when he says looks.
This is what I mean when I say looks or appearance, with a stronger emphasis on facial symetry, facial balance and nonverbal communicators over word choice.

now as for the provisioing i dont think its necesssary at all!!! SURE money makes it easier and you must have some to get by in life but you dont need mass wealth. you can live very simply and still be very happy. Her liking you will trump the money issue everytime. every damm time.
Economic means matter less when compesated for by looks and "personality" or game in the short-term and while your both young, but if you want the most desirable girl for the long run it matters quite a bit

Rollo does a lot of things according to his own personal agenda, and not sosuave's guidelines. And yes, it is not a good thing at all.

A mod should be objective, and Rollo is not.

I hope Allen takes notice of some of the red flags I have noticed.
You sure are skating on thin ice here. If the mods were being objective you'd be the one gone. Talk about throwing stones from a glass house. I find Rollo to be very objective and a person you can respectively disagree with and he never make it personal. I've only seen him lock threads when people like you or Wyldfire types divert it and turn it into a personal flame war. I'm not trying to flame you, so if you have reply at least keep it on the topic of Rollo's objectivety and fairness or better yet on the thread topic.

And Swifty, what you described "your face, your smile, your body, your walk, your smell, the words you use, your tone, the way you talk, the way you interact with people, your eyes, your expressions, your jokes, your humour."

Is NOT looks.

That is a sum of qualities, and you are completely correct, THAT is what matters. Not genes. LOL!

Life experience is what shapes a man and who he is, and who a man is, THAT is what matters to the ladies.
Well in swifty's description I counted at least 70% of it going directly to appearance, less than 21% going to word choice and even part of that was atttributal to visual appearance and to some extent how "good" your voice sounds. And that doesn't even get into a the matter that a man's confidence is boosted by having means and a woman's always subjective evaluation of a man is influencd strongly by his economic status.

This is not a flame, but for the life of me I can't figure out why some people are so fixated on ruling out certain things women look for in a mate, to the point where they don't even make an attempt to read the thread to see what it's all about.

In the other thread it was people picking out a few key words (money, wealth, etc) and then trying to argue a point that nobody even brought up. In this thread you are saying that Rollo singled out looks, when the title AND the entire post say something completely different.

The fact that this is happening should tell us something about the nature of MEN. I'm too tired to even start to think about dissecting this, but there has to be an interesting explanation.
So true. You will notice the antagonists never address your actual points. I replied to John on page one and you can bet him and iqqi won't debate the more solid points. And neither did they take anything out of Rollo's original post verbatim and counter it.

Iqqi, you've argued that it's NOT looks, that it's NOT money, that it's NOT status, that it's NOT genes. The only thing I can recall you said it WAS, was a thread you started about why a guy "SHOULD" buy you a drink. I don't claim to be aware of all you've written, but this is what springs to mind.
My thread that you are referring to was a field report, not an essay on any actual knowledge.

So, as one of the resident chicks here, how bout you clue us in on what it IS: not looks, not money, not status, not genes. OK. That pretty much just leaves "personality," I guess. Not that "personality" is a one-dimensional thing --- confidence, C+F, the "cool" factor, humor, intelligence, etc.

So what IS it, IQQI? Or is it just generally the "whole package"?

If it's not money or looks or status, then personality, or the "whole package," or "he bought me a drink" are just about all that's left.

You keep telling us what is NOT necessary...... Well, then clue us in..... what IS?
It is the whole package. When it is about just one thing, you can pretty much sum up the person by that. I.E. if the main attraction is money/status/career the girl is a gold digger. If the main attraction is sex, the girl might just be a h0.

Most women fall in love with a man because of all of his traits that make him, HIM. I will say that many times a man might have a "hook", or something that is unique about him that the woman finds irresistable. This is what keeps her coming back, as she discovers more of his traits. This would be called "getting to know" him.

Attraction has more to do with charisma. A man with charisma will snatch a chick up from Donald Trump, and he will snatch a chick up from Brad Pitt. Unless Brad or Donald have charisma too, which they just might. I haven't met them, I don't know.

And charisma, is personality.

It is intangible, unlike looks, or status, which might make it an intimidating factor for men who lack it. Naturals know exactly what I am talking about.

All these theories on hardwired subconscious evolved mate selection could be debunked just by taking a look around you. Genes just don't matter.

aliasguy said:
Just gimme a brief, direct list of what does it for ya.
Well, Alias, since you asked. ;) ;)

A sense of humour. A nice smile (this is subjective, Keto...). Wit. Intelligence. A similar outlook on life. Sexuality. Those are some things that I value.

If he is handsome, great!!!

If he is rich... greater!!!

If he isn't handsome... well you remember my last field report. Personality trumps looks.

Those things (looks, status) are just icing on the cake. The cake is the sustenance.

aliasguy said:
you're going to have to do better than the amorphous concept of "life experience," too. What does THAT mean, exactly?
Life experience is what shapes a man's personality.

Genes are what shapes a man's physical being.

Life experience trumps genes.

What the hell is all that about, anyways?

You have gotta conclude....from the ones who post on this site...

90% of the posters here just DON'T GET IT, they have and share a common mindset of NOT GETTING IT and they all jump on those who GET IT.

10% of the folks that get it, really don't waste time posting, b/c when they do, they are showered with 9 of out 10 replies being folks calling them names, trolls, etc., etc.

It's as IF you have a DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE than the "group" then there's something wrong with you?

Honestly, I come back on this site after really (figuring the everything out within the first year) really just to laugh at these guys lol.

Nothing against str8up but damn......this guy makes a thread every day ? How the fvck can you work 60 hours a week, have sooooo many chicks like he claims, but make a THREAD A DAY....dude get the fvck outta here >>>>>>>>>>>>> (THE DOOR)

You guys are NERDS, KEYBOARD JOCKEYS, and I'm telling your mother.

It's been said 2445 times ... Holy Mother Mary, you must come up with some new material, Rollo! :p

Yeah, looks and provisioning matter, surely enough. But if they were all that mattered, this forum need not concern itself with anything but how to look your best and how to make as much money as possible. And most of the adverts would be for plastic surgeons and "get rich quick" schemes.

But, as one individual so aptly pointed out, a vast majority of people -- including a vast majority of those here -- are not super-rich or super-attractive.

I'd also hazard a guess a lot of women don't really know what they want, but know it when they meet him (or her, if she swings that way). And this is not meant to be an insult to women: what I find attractive in a woman is too subjective and quirky to list, as well.

Certain things generally matter, but there's really no formula: pay attention to what happens. Enjoy it! Discovery is part of the fun of it all!

Bon.......(exhales)......thank you.

The only problem is, these "nerds" just won't accept "simplicity" as the Truth, to them there must be some scientific, biological, chemisty-geometry, Dr. Dwayne Dyer type bullshyt azz research that must be done.

:)

But then, does not every good scientist know most of the best scientific work is done in the lab?
