Look, if someone wants to call some anonymous character a hick, or chav, or ghetto, or Canadian, just let it go. There is no need to condemn negative gags like that.
And do not ask vague, meandering questions so that people can come up with speculative attempts at advice, attempts that you can then shoot down as unhelpful because you won't tell us what - if anything - your actual problem might be. If someone reaches a conclusion that's obviously wrong, or obviously doesn't apply to you, then realize that it's almost certainly your fault for leaving out a relevant detail.
I'm not so much talking about this thread, as any thread you make in general about situations in your life that turn into ten pages.
This place is enjoyable because of real life stories that you can find in books, magazines, or 'reality' TV. So tell stories, and let people editorialize about them. Do not use this forum to think out loud. We have paper for that.
