Why do young women hate traditional gender roles?

Most 21 year old women think that being a stay at home mom is completely stupid and goes against "feminism" and all they want to do is be "independent". Yet as women get into their 30's and into their 40's, they begin to realize the importance of being an involved and responsible mother. Motherhood COMPLETELY changes women. Prior to motherhood, they have no clue and have no idea the feelings associated with being a parent. They think that they are going to be career oriented, traveling the world, partying, and being a mother never crosses their mind. Taking care of another life never crosses their mind and the duties associated with it. They don't care about dating men who are financially responsible or want to be involved fathers and provide for their families and are loyal to their wife and family, they just want to date guys who party and have a cool car. Older women realize that femininity is powerful, yet younger women want to embrace masculine roles and think femininity is oppressive to women as a gender.

This got me thinking, why exactly is this the case?

These days What you will find are women that want to be courted and be treated in a traditional sense when it suits them, but have the benefits of a non traditional way of living when it suits them.

the umbrella issue is more. not just women but men also.

as it fails, times will get rough, then is the NEED for masculine men. The children of the same will have a golden time again.

in short, the women behave this way because of what they learned from their father... who only learned from his mother... or something like that.

Exaxtly and this goes for both sexes.

This is why so many guys struggle with women nowadays. The natural balance is out of order. Women are acting more masculin and men are acting more feminine. This all works perfectly in theory, but on a biological level it works against them. Men are being brainwashed by movies and pop music just as much as women are..

Always treat a woman as an equal when work related. Just don't do it when she's someone you want to date or sleep with. There's a reason so many women are attracted to their boss.

Women do what benefits them. Men get brainwashed to think women care about them. Women don’t care about men, they care about themselves first and foremost. Women are selfish before any other attribute.

The world is like that. I got immigrant friends who live in the North America, adapt to the culture and language, use all the services, but when it comes to sex and marriage for their daughters, they adopt the culture and expectations of their home country. Essentially they are Muslim Tuesday Thursday and North American Monday Wednesday Friday.

Imagine if society brainwashed women to sleep with alphas, not marry or have children. How far do you think the human race would go? Society brainwashes to do what is in its best benefit. Not what is in yours.

Look at China. For 40 years one child policy, economy, economy, economy, money, money, money, power, power, power. Then last year: uh oh, women seem to like the workplace too much and are not getting married and pregnant. Quickly let’s reverse it, hurry up women and get married and get pregnant. We erred in giving you too much freedoms.

Decades of brainwashing of big companies and the "big guys" spreading the revolution around the world. For the average working man, the revolution would be against his bosses, in which he would archieve his emancipation and freedom. For the average woman, it would be a revolution against the men, in which they would archieve their emancipation by getting a job and getting their own money and life. In the end, we know that neither of these two really worked.

What they forgot is:
1) Women instintictively need to be protected by men
2) In a society, the most attractive male is the one that can provide safety, the same doesn't apply to men attractiveness to women (that's why you'll see a lot of nice girls telling that they have a good job and a master degree but no man)
3) Putting women in the same place as men would mean depolarizing them, which would justify a lot of mental problems that are so often today, such as depression and anxiety, since women can't dedicate themselves to simply be women

So with that you take women our of their womenhood, and men out of their manhood by creating a pattern in society where boys and girls are barely in touch with their fathers and mothers, later becoming beta weak pleasing (or the a ****ty narcissist) male and a bitchy (or sexually repressed) female.

How is the answer to this question not obvious? Constant brainwashing in schools, colleges, television shows, movies and the media in general. Young people are highly susceptible to brainwashing, especially if they don't have strong parents pushing against the indoctrination.

A better question is why has this been allowed to happen? The answer to that is far more compacted.

It's just simply social-cognitive behaviors and narratives. Most (if not all) humans come from a mold, even men, yes men. Very few people have parents/schools give such freedom and protection from societal norms and bs rules and allow them to question the world and walk their own paths and breakdown social constructs.

I'm still boggled by the fact that the girls I've dated 10-15 years younger have ZERO domestic skills. I go to their place and it looks like $hit. Bathroom is a mess, kitchen is hardly used with no real food in the fridge or cabinets, clothes strewn here and there.

My biggest pet peeve though is if they don't have any drinks or offer any when I get to their place. To me that's common sense respect/courtesy/hospitality. And the few that offer a drink, only have water. LOL
