Bullsh1t! We are trying to stop it from becoming Zimbabwe. My cousin lives in Kenya, we know what the hell is going on.

Bullsh1t! Yea, the Woke Left wants "free healthcare" but the rest of the population with a brain opposes it for the very reason you state. But all you know about the USA is what the Woke Leftist media feeds you.

Bullsh1t! stats. The Woke Leftist thinks having legal guns will make it a war zone,...but what they will get is a war zone if they try to take the guns away.

Again, the Woke Leftist are obsessed with race because they use it as a political weapon to divide an conquer the population. "Normal" people barely ever use "race" in a sentence unless it is NASCAR.

You have an amazingly twisted view of the USA as presented to you by the Woke Leftist. But of course that is exactly what they want. So congratulate them on a job well done. The propaganda machine is a success.

Go clean up your own house. Make Zimbabwe into a "heaven" then we can all come there.
I live in a country who have the "free" health care, if you ahve any brain you won't ever want to use it, lets just say, my father had cancer in 2018-19, if he was in the free heath care, he would be dead by now, also just one little tidy bit of info, since that time(even before but looks like people love to forget this) we had to wait for a free space in the intensive care, because it was FULL, we had to transfer him to a close city, so he had a place to get ready for the surgery, and its a with a paid health care plan.

so yeah I don't see why anyone with a brain would want the FREE version since it don't work, also note any good doctor will leave the public service and go private, why? they pay better, so the free one get all the lazy or not good enough to go private, and good luck to find someone who want to save lives, these ones go for war zones to fill they ego.

note too my country is a controled weapon, on population that is, criminal can choose from semi to full auto at ease, and we had to not only pay a huge ammount for a simple revolver, but you want need to have a REASON to ask for a permit, because you want is not a reason, and if is for sport you can't carry it around, so yeah you get a gun to lock in a safe at home....

I honestly don't understand why they hate America so much but still refuse to leave it, it doesn't make any sense to me.
Everybody's been brainwashed by fiat currency, utterly corrupted democracy, and social media to believe every single problem they have is somebody else's fault.

Every politician has the same promise:

You're problems are not your fault.

They are somebody else's fault.

Vote for me and I'll fix it.

The problem comes when people believe that, like PT Barnum suckers. Suckers who believe things that are too good to be true.

People's lives suck compared to those around them, and people on social media.

They find their lives lacking and do the natural thing, blame others.

The very existence of insurance horribly inflates whatever is "insured". It becomes self perpetuating in that once insurance appears on the scene, soon after the only way it can be paid for is with insurance. Once "Big Insurance" has a strangle hold on something they raise the rates, they have no competition, then no one can afford the insurance. When no one can afford the insurance rates Big Government steps in and says "I'm from the government, and I'm here to help save you from Evil Big Insurance" (that they are really in bed with). Once Big Government has control of your healthcare they OWN you.
Agree 100%.

You clearly have an agenda and political view, not everything has to do with politics. The thread is more or less (at least how I understand it) cultural behavior. It is clear you are not a fan of the left, and I can see why. Especially when it comes to the media and big corporations. But using this thread as an opportunity to share your political views when most of us are simply referring to the general (not everyone) American attitude, again diminishes the effectiveness of your message which like I said you are not entirely wrong
I do not read an agenda. I hear a call out to ridiculous massive blanket statements, and relaying reality.

This is better than the US health care system. He ended up getting treated after all - much better than getting a $200,000 bill your family is on the hook for. And for all the complaining Americans do about payroll taxes we pay far more in premiums, out of pocket deductibles, and co-insurance. It takes extreme examples to rationalize the wreck that is USA health care system.

This is wildly off base to the point of delusion. You flat out do not have the money to pay for your own health care nor the person you hit in a car accident. It is basic risk mitigation.

Exhibit A a big problem in the USA is people resort to talking points pitched to them by pro-corporate media ideologues.
PW is 100% right about insurance and the government. If neither existed, both medical costs and automobile costs would be very low. Everyday when I'm driving I always realize that the only reason cars and autobody repair is expensive is because insurance and government are free money. And when an industry is controlled by free body, everything becomes low quality and expensive.

That is such a fallacy. The average vehicle operator cannot afford out-of pocket expenses due to wreck, theft, flood, or personal injuries.

What you're speaking is from the current reality. In a world without insurance, any person can afford those expenses. Go read up on the history of insurance and watch how invasive it became.

Same argument as a world without taxes…

USA health care system is a disaster. COVID-19 exposed it even further. First step to fixing it is admitting it.

The US did extremely well on vaccine development and delivery (for those that want it).

The pandemic stressed the hell out of the healthcare system, no doubt. I’m not sure we can assume that a national healthcare system would have necessarily had more ICU capacity than our private system.

I'm aware you're a socialist, but taxes nor insurance help no one.

Oh wait, it only helps those who receive both.
