Why are women so unforgiving when it comes to male baldness?

i'm a 38 years old male. Since i began balding, i started to shave my head instead of letting the remaining hair stay. The first thing i noticed was that the way women perceived me started to change in a bad way. I know age kicks in, a guy starts to get old and facial features change, it's nature and it happens to all of us. But what i really notice is how cruel and unforgiving women are when it comes to men losing their hair... it's like we have some contagious disease or something? does it make us less manly? is a bald guy condemned to being single because he is... well bald?

Here's some pics before and after being bald. Horrible... That's how women describe me now,i don't know if it's the shaved head or something else. i'm letting my beard grow because i have a weak chin and jaw. i will have a bilateral saggital split and le fort 1 surgery in a few months to advance my lower jaw and maybe a genioplasty, maybe i will look better then without beard.

Anyway looking forward to hear opinions on my question and how to cope with this situation.

You look fine. Who are these women saying you look horrible and other cruel things? I have trouble believing adult women would behave that way - especially when you're a normal looking dude. Maybe if they were in grade school.

I see many bald guys with tattoos cleaning up with HB 9s. They look alpha as fug.

I dunno...you just have to own it. I'm 28 and buzz my hair during the summer, I seriously seem to get more attention when I do that then when I have it grown out/styled.

I started balding somewhat last year at 25. When I do shave it bald or buzz it close, women do prefer that on me for some reason. I'm trying to grow it out for the holidays and it's more difficult to do now. I'm in the military utilizing the bald look is OK. If and when I get out in my 30's I'll go back to being bald and getting back into hardcore powerlifting. They shave their heads bald in that sport a lot.

How many girls have given you this sort of 'negative feedback'? Are we talking something like 3 out of 5 or something closer to 97 out of 110? If the former, then you're not approaching enough, and if the latter, honestly, I'd find that hard to believe, but even if that were the case, I'd argue that your shortcomings have waaaay more to do with your approaching than your looks. If a girl digs you, you'd be surprised at how forgiving she becomes and the things she's suddenly into (obviously to impress you).

Chill, bro, it's all in your head. Pack on pounds of muscle, it'll do wonders for you. See: Ryback from WWE.

if you are bald, you need to hit the gym like your life depends on it

I find that if you're skinny and bald, it's not really a great look. If you're muscular, well built and bald, you'll attract a bigger share of women. Just my own observations. I could be wrong.

Maybe there's just other aspects of yourself that you NeedToImprove.

I'm half way bald, but I don't give two fvcks, so therefore, either do the ladies I'm with.

Limiting belief.

Great responses in this thread....even you skinnyguy.

In my experience women care about: height, hair and income. Other things are window dressing.

One of my best friends is bald and light skin like yourself. He shaves his head because he's balding and when we go out, he picks up pretty good. Some women like the bald look, I will say though that the bald look looks better on some Men than others but it could work.

Channel your excited feelings into positive thoughts and behaviors. You will attract women by being enthusiastic, radiating energy, and becoming someone who is fun to be around.

^Yes. I jokingly call it the "Three Hs: height, hair, and hedge fund lol."

There's a guy I know that is completely gray and his face looks likes he's been through a fire. But he has a cute and much younger gf. Because of his hideous face, some people wonder why she's with him. I know why....

He's 6'2" with FULL hair and six figures.

But back on topic....

Yes, many (but not all) women are merciless on the hair loss issue. Not every guy can pull off a shave either. Mine is just cut short right now. I'm "owning" the "scorched earth crater" lol.

Definitely work out aggressively to try to balance out your look. Then just own it. It's all you can really do.

If you're a man and are this worried about what your hair looks like youve already lost.

I'm 20 and already thinning. It bothers me a little but hopefully by the time it's noticeable I'll be able to grow a decent beard (it gets noticeably thicker every few months), and I'll be more built. Then I'll just shave it all off and grow the beard out.

In the mean time, well, good thing I started wearing a hat regularly before I noticed it was thinning. No-one will suspect a thing.

My bro is receding badly but he's got a hot little 19yr old sending him nudes.
Up your game, OP. Your looks aren't what's turning off women (no homo).
And I've seen a lot weaker chins than yours. You actually look pretty damn normal.
