Do you drain away the fat?

I was but then realized.. With the conventional low carbs/carb cuttoff, high protein and med-high fat.. I should be eating it (besides.. it tasted frekin great! lol)

So with the beef I was cooking (only 12% fat or less anyway) I've recently been eating fat as well since I definitely have't been getting my daily amt of fat calories (usually turn it into a gravy of some sort).

So I guess my question is do you eat the fat when you cook beef or drain/remove it and why?

You should drain most of the fat but leave enough to keep it moist.

Here is a tip with beef guys .... When you have cooked a joint of beef, take it out of the oven and cover it with a clean tea towel for 10 mins

It will cut like butter!

animal fat is saturated fat, and while you do need a little bit of it, its best to avoid as much saturated fat as possible, You don't need the extra cholesterol either. Better to actively eat poly and mono fats from plants and fish.

That is a suggestion. You are reading about saturated fats and cholesterol. You are reading about saturated fats and cholesterol because your current view about both is wrong.

Extra saturated fat and cholesterol is very helpful as cholesterol is a necessary component to TESTOSTERONE production.

If your goal is to remain in your highest ANABOLIC state, then you must feed your body adequete CHOLESTEROL for optimum T production.

Here is the MATRIX MYTH:

Cholesterol intake will increase your total cholesterol

This is the biggest horsesh*t that was bought into since people believed the world was flat. If your body is in an ANABOLIC state, it will use the bulk of cholesterol intake for hormonal production. This means if you remain anabolic, your body will benefit from higher cholesterol intake.

Even if you did not work out your entire life and you increased your CHOLESTEROL; your body would need to have a genetic pre-disposition to high total cholesterol levels. And if you are this GUY, than you would have noticed cutting out your saturated fats and cholesterol didnt do a damn thing for you.

DO NOT BUY INTO THE MYTH. CHOLESTEROL AND SATURATED FAT ARE ANABOLIC AND NECESSARY.

Combine this with low carb dieting, and you have the ANABOLIC PLAN.

He already said a bit of saturated fat and cholesterol is necessary along with the other types of fats, but the other types of fats are a healthier and better option and also aid hormones, that's why they are advised over beef fat. It's also one thing to say creating an anabolic plan, but that means nothing on it's own because it's about adding lean mass with little fat, not just all out adding mass and lots of fat as a consequence.

Actually, mono and EFA's aid hormonal production but not in the EFFICIENCY and manner that cholesterol does.

Your body needs the RAW MATERIALS of CHOLESTEROL to produce ANABOLIC hormones.

So even though the other fats assist in the process. There will be no process without the RAW MATERIALS needed.

CHOLESTEROL IS THE RAW MATERIAL MUST.

Now to add LEAN MASS, one must know how to create the most ANABOLIC environment for his body. In other words, you are sitting counting calories to add LEAN MASS but discounting that you may be on a 6000 calorie a day diet and add only lean mass if your anabolic state is HIGH enough.

This accounts as to why testosterone injectors eat 5000-10000 calories a day adding only lean mass while losing body fat.

Yes if you are trying to get your bf down to below 6 % , caloric intake must be monitored to the T. However to add lean mass, the goal is to be in the most ANABOLIC state. And naturally, this would include have the raw material of CHOLESTEROL in abundance.

ok gotcha...I agree we do need cholesterol, I think I already said that..
