Okay, once again I wasn't clear enough in my original post. I don't find my passions boring (then why would it be my passion?) but it's not exciting as some dude who can play the guitar really good, or an awesome basketball player, etc.

It's as boring as you want to make it, or the opposite as interesting and enthralling as you make it. If you present it well, she will be dying to hear you talk more about it. How passionate are you about this field really?
